The robust construction of the hinge is awesome. I used a competitor’s Bluetooth keyboard, it was lighter but the plastic hinges gave way and was useless after 4 months. I tried at least 3 new replacements, then I found the Brydge keyboard. It had been 2 years and still going like new. I had to purchase a larger keyboard when I upgraded the iPad. The best!

I have been watching and waiting for this keyboard for the new 7th generation iPad. I per-ordered and got mine today. It is all I could have hoped for and more. It charged quickly. It fits like a glove, looks and feels like OEM. Nice typing quality and the special keys are the bomb! These special keys definitely saves me time. Love the adjustable back lighted keys. Bluetooth hookup was quick and easy. This keyboard feels like solid protection for your iPad. My old case and keyboard are now history. They cannot compare to the quality and feel of the Brydge keyboard. You will never regret getting this keyboard if you write as much as I do. even texts are easier. It is definitely a well thought out product and makes my iPad a complete package when I have to hit the road.

I owned the previous smaller version for almost a year and loved it. The current one I have doesn’t hold a charge that long (about a month) where the previous was at least 3-6 months. Also this one doesn’t link as quick or stay linked to Bluetooth as good as previous one.

This is my second Brydge keyboard, purchased because I bought a new iPad. Like the first Brydge I owned, I love it. Unlike other keyboards you can use with an iPad, the Brydge is a real keyboard, with a great tactile feel, appropriately spaced keys, and I love the backlit keys. It generally pairs easily with my iPad, although the pairing seems to come undone at rare times. Thus far my only complaint is that, unlike my first Brydge keyboard, this new one requires a recharge very frequently. My last Brydge keyboard would go months without requiring a charge, but this new one will only retain a charge for about 2-3 weeks at most. Not a big deal, but certainly less convenient. I would certainly recommend a Brydge keyboard to anyone looking for a dependable, addition to their iPad.

I had purchased the very pricey Apple keyboard – and found it drained the battery very quickly, which just wasn’t working for me. Got this keyboard – it has its own battery and does not drain the iPad and both now have great battery time. Also has a very nice feel to it. Highly recommend. (P.S. If you like the Clam Cases, you’ll like this keyboard and, bonus, it is a little bit lighter.)
