When I got the 7th gen iPad back in the Fall, I began looking at compatible keyboards as an alternate work set up for travel, external meetings, etc. This would be my first time using this kind of set up, so I wanted to do it right and get a good one. The safe option was the Logitech, but I wasn’t super crazy about the look and it had to be preordered anyway. I considered the apple keyboard, but after reading reviews along the cost, it was an easy no. This is when I came across Brydge. The simplicity, the ease of use (from all the videos I saw), great reviews and the fact that it came in gold and would look like a mini MacBook? Sold! I preordered and counted down the days until it was released. But then it was delayed and delayed again…and only the gold version of course! Well, I finally got it yesterday and it was worth the wait. The gold is just as beautiful in person; the set up was a breeze and the keys were very responsive, no delays at all. I could easily tilt the angle without force or stiffness; the whole unit is solid and definitely well made. If you are still sitting there considering it, just got get one! You will not be disappointed!

I love the look and feel of Brydge keyboards, bit I am on my third keyboard and the hinge always breaks. I have not dropped them, I just open and close a lot and this design just cannot keep up!!! This last one broke just 2 months after replacement. I am looking for another brand as I just don’t think the design of the hinge will ever be better. It is only attached on one side so there is always pressure on the attached side of the hinge.
