Really well built. No clutter whatsoever. Not sure what I’d do with it if my computer dies, but for the next while, this is a pretty solid dock. I use it in my recording studio as the main production computer, and I wanted an easy way to dock it and get it out of the way… great service all around by the folks a Brydge- great customer service!

The Brydge Pro+ is very well constructed. They keyboard is high quality and the track pad adds functionality I didn’t know I was missing. I do have two thoughts on making it even better: (1) Increase the strength of the magnets that hold the cover for the back of the iPad secure, and (2) wake up the keyboard more quickly when trying to use it after a prolonged break. Great product!

Disappointed. Product received well in a package but when opened found a small budge on the lower side of keyboard. iPad does not gets fixed properly and when pushed down the rubber support started falling out. Extremely disappointed to. have such a high value product with inferior quality. Does not match with the quality explained, Accessory is good not not worth with the price paid.

Love keyboard but back covering comes off too easily and case does not always stay magnet closed. Wish it had a way to protect iPad pencil

4/5 because mouse pad sometimes does not work properly when tapping on scroll down tabs.

The addition of a mouse pad that allows improved cutting, pasting, highlighting and other short cuts makes the Brydge Pro a great addition for the iPad Pro. This moves the Apple device even closer to being the substitute product.

Excellent quality and beautiful match to the iPads design! I’d give it 5 stars but for the site incorrectly charges Canadians taxes in USD, but having contacted their Customer service and was refunded the difference.

Please fix your hinges not only are they a terrible design but they will break screens and your screen protector

Trackpad need some work but overall, very very fine product.

The keyboard is sturdy, stylish and very user friendly. The top part that surrounds the actual Ipad is very thin though and does not wrap around the end he is the iPad at all. There is no magnet to hold it secure against the iPad Keep in mind that means there is zero side protection for the iPad itself and the top piece doesn’t always lie completely flat. You should definitely still get a protective case if you will be regularly putting your iPad with case attached into a backpack or bag. Still, the keyboard has a really nice feel to it and is fast and responsive.

The lag for the cursor is significant. I also just can’t get the gestures down. I have an issue where the screen will randomly zoom in slowly after switching apps. Only happens when this keyboard is connected and zoom is turned off in settings. Also, I feel the back magnetic protector feels a little cheap. It works well for what it is, but could use some improvement.

Well… The construction seems nice and sturdy, and the infinite viewing angles are nice. (Time will tell whether the hinge holds up.) Everything about the keyboard itself seems fine so far. (Although it would be nice to have a ‘mute’ button, having a row of function keys sure beats having none on Apple’s Magic Keyboard.) HOWEVER, the whole reason for buying this keyboard is the trackpad! Brydge has apparently already made some improvements with firmware updates, but more are very much needed to make it anywhere near Apple’s functionality. The thing that drives me CRAZY is the ‘tap to click’, which is EXTREMELY sensitive. Every Apple laptop or desktop trackpad I have used for the last 20 years has had the ability to turn that off, AND I DO!! I easily have as many accidental clicks as desired clicks with the Brydge trackpad because of the sensitivity. It would also be nice to have the two finger ‘swipe’ between web pages, photos, etc. It would also be nice to be able to ‘pinch and spread’ to zoom in and out on maps, photos, etc. All the things I have been mentioned are functions available on Apple trackpads. (And I may have missed some.) Also, the optional protective back that Brydge gives you for the iPad comes off fairly easily. It either needs to affix more securely , or be a non optional part of a keyboard case. Both Brydge and Apple fail to give you storage For the Apple Pencil. Logitech is the company that got that right. (A closure strap that either holds the pencil or secures it while attached to the iPad when the case is closed. Either choice is magnetically secured.) I actually made a ‘pouch’ for the Apple Pencil that attaches to the back with Velcro! (See pic) I am still hoping that Brydge will update the functionality of the trackpad to be more like Apple’s.

The product works as advertised, and I’m satisfied overall. But two cautions: it should be made more evident that a Brydge keyboard more than doubles the weight of an iPad; and the user manuals are TERRIBLE.

I’ve had my keyboard for a couple weeks now, and am just learning the in’s and outs, but I’ve had a number of others and in comparison this won out does them in every area. The track pad is very sensitive so I will still have to learn to key my thumbs to myself while typing, but that will come with practice.

I love the keyboard, the construction is awesome, and I actually like the tiny keys even as a large fat fingered kinda guy. But, I received it with one hinge a little bent, small enough that if I complained about it I was afraid I would be “that customer”, but I am a designer and therefore I can be very retentive and this is one of those moments and it bugs me a lot. Now the second complaint- Here’s the one that annoys me more. I had the first gen keyboard for my 2018 iPad pro 11 and the power port was on the right hand side; so when using the keyboard wired and plugged into the iPad I could place the iPad in the hinges with the volume buttons on top (and the iPad’s power port on the right), that would make the usb-c cord plugged in to both devices on the right side of each device and the cord supplied fit well. Now with the new track pad keyboard the power port is on the left so it does not allow me to place the iPad in the hinges with the volume buttons on top with the supplied usb-c cord. It’s a little thing but it sucks. So I don’t use a cord from some other device and it has a lot of extra length flopping around. Does either effect the performance? no. but for what I paid, I sorta want the little details polished too. Now here is a cool gem- a gem that a very few of you will enjoy. I use this keyboard as my daily design keyboard with my iPad as a connected monitor to my mac mini. so the ipad sits in the keyboard and just above it is my 4k ultra wide 38″ monitor! And it works great. the only thing I wish for is an escape key so I can get out of tool selections in my software, but there are other shortcuts and it was made for an iPad so I will complain about the other things and enjoy it for what I can do with it.

Very Solid and built for the IPad Pro. The keyboard is easy to use and good on the touch. The hinges are a good fit to place the iPad in. If you have a screen protector on your iPad it, this keyboard will definitely tear it and that’s why I have it 4 stars.

i was using many mouse or notebook trackpad. this item’s trackpad is very bad, the mouse point movement is terrible. i need refund.

I have to say first off – the keyboard itself is magnificent. The keys feel great to type on and I couldn’t be happier with them. I will admit, I was a bit disappointed in the trackpad at first….it just doesn’t feel as fluid and comfortable to use as an Apple one. However, after a couple days I found myself getting more used to it…and Brydge has released two firmware upgrades since I received it….which is impressive in itself and shows me that they are working hard to make the trackpad smooth as silk. I am confident they will get there with it after seeing the progress made in those two firmware upgrades. Overall happy with my purchase and don’t regret choosing the Pro+ over Apples Magic Keyboard.

The keyboard looks great. It matches my iPad perfectly. It feels well built and sturdy and connects quickly. The keys have great tactile feel. My only complaint is the back cover moves too easily and gets misaligned.
Garnet Effertz (verified owner) –
I’m impressed with the build quality of the keyboard, however, the magnetically back cover for the iPad is worthless. It will stay attached so I plan not to use it. Overall I am satisfied.
