Will be returning after getting three different keyboards and all with some damage. Never worked well. Even leather folio came damaged with several marks on it as if it was used as well.

I have the Apple magic keyboard and the Brydge Pro+ and I find the Brydge unit to be more laptop like and easier to manipulate the screen angles. The build quality is also higher in the Brydge Pro+.

So, at first. The way that the iPad has to adhere to the brydge device is just awkward. Maybe is that I’ve been through 5 different cases/keyboards and this just feels very odd. Also, I have a 2018 iPad, so the magnetic cover that came is for the newer larger camera hole (square.) So it looks lame, it falls quite a bit and just floats there. So is really worthless. Function wise, the keyboard is nice. The mousepad is nice. Just those two for the two stars. Other than that. I think I am going to gift it away, and get the Apple one and try that.

The Brydge Keyboard is being compared to the new Apple Magic Keyboard however, the real magic is when I can mount my IPAD PRO to my stand, sit in my chair, or lie down and use my Brydge Keyboard “detached” and control my IPAD PRO FROM MY CHAIR or from my bed with the built in track board. works like “real magic”.

First the hinge clamps are nicely upgraded. I have snapped one before. The backs of the clamps are square as opposed to L shaped which helps with opening strain – and keeping the friction rubber from sliding. The touch pad works really well – although the iPad OS doesn’t do smooth scrolling well with the scroll gesture. The only negative I have is that clicking the pad doesn’t turn on the keyboard. The balance and range of motion are vastly superior to Apple’s equivalent offering.

The keyboard is awesome!!! Quality is top notch. Seems like it was crafted out the the same materials as the iPad itself. Nice and lightweight. Will definitely be looking to get a keyboard with every iPad I purchase from here on out.

The magnetic back is not really good. While it will stay in place, any slight touch on it and it moves. Was hoping that this would stay in place better than it does.

The product is nice and works well – as a keyboard. If all you ever do is use a keyboard look no further. I use the Apple Pencil about 1/2 the time. Here the product reveals some very fixable shortcomings. There should be a place to store the pencil – you can’t leave it on the side (where the magnets are) or it will surely get lost first time it is bumped. A small groove cut into the side of the keyboard with a mechanical (e.g., friction) connector would do. The second problem is the case does not “clam shell” – fold over onto itself – which makes using something like Goodnotes difficult because the keyboard is in the way. If the keyboard could be folded over entirely so it was out of the way using the pencil would be easy. The majority of the most popular keyboards seem to operate this way. With these two modifications it would easily be a 5 star product.

The Brydge enables my iPad Pro to effectively work as a laptop with greater functionality.

I have been using the keyboard for a little while now and it is excellent.

The backlit feature is a bonus as I have a Logitech keyboard also for a iPad 6 generation and at night cannot see the keyboard and another feature I like is changing the angle of the iPad to the keyboard. The trackpad is very responsive to touch.

I constantly have to remind myself that no, this is not a MacBook. That should be all you need to know!

I love these keyboards, have had two in the past. The hinges have changed and I am not so sure for the better. They do not open and close as smoothly and are very vulnerable to breaking. Other than that love the product

Pros: very easy to connect and use. Cons: Shims were damaged on arrival – had to have someone assist with proper realignment and connection. Instruction sheet received with keyboard was written in about a 7″ font — much too small for anyone with sight issues to read. Had to go to youtube to get useable information.

Impressive! Very responsive! Lite keys . Quality . But the magnetic cover needs to be improved, seems like magnet isn’t strong enough. tho it dose stay on, but it can come off with some ease. Other than that it’s EXCELLENT. Makes me feel like my IPad Pro is now a laptop!! Be sure to get Brydge Brand Screen Protector, the cradle is very SNUG anything thicker would PROBABLY not fit.

Brydge is a great addition to my iPad Pro! It was worth the wait!

Not happy with the touch pad sensitivity. I was consistently jumping around on the screen while typing. i so wanted to like this added feature after having been very pleased with the original Brydge lighted keyboard which got ruined with a small liquid spill.

The magnetic back cover isn’t holding on my iPad and keeps falling off. 🙁
