I like the feel and function..except for the circular dot for the mouse pointer. It just makes it annoyingly different and their does seem to make the pointer a conventional pointer. Battery power is ok ( 4 hours approx)..but the battery lights/controls don’t give good info on when it is about to go out..and then you are stuck with a semi working keypad until battery power is discovered to be low. Keyboard feel is great, back light is great, trackpad is great.

So I’ve loved all my Brydge products because they were so versatile, you could flip the iPads around to enhance movie viewing, lay the iPad flat so that you can write on the screen like a notebook and so forth. Was excited to get this one because of the touchpad but sadly there is no support for flipping the iPad around to use it as a notepad. The support tabs are too big and encroach on the screen. Not sure why this was overlooked as it was what truly set this solution apart from the competition. So now I’m using my old one without the trackpad because I write as much as I type.

The look and feel and build quality are solid. I also like the track pad interface. This is Avery nice looking keyboard and it matches the iPad Pro well. My one gripe is the port for charging the keyboard is on the opposite side from the port on the iPad. Why? Why would you do this again? Why can’t you just let me charge both devices from the same side?

I had an older MacBook Pro that was on its last legs and decided to try and replace it with an iPad 12.9 Pro. On it’s own, it wasn’t really practical, but with the new Brydge keyboard it’s a lot better than what I was expecting!! I’d read there were problems with latency on the mouse but I haven’t had any problems at all. I’d highly recommend this set up!!!

The Bryde Pro really steps it up a notch with the Pro. Still don’t like the keys as much as Logitech but there OK. Touch pad seems to be getting better with updates. I can still get it locked up in settings and not quite sure how to configure the options. Could do with more instruction in this area. Well done.

Very high quality product. Only issues so far have been that there is a noticeable lag in pairing when waking it up from sleep and none of the trackpad shortcuts work. Despite these issues it is still a wonderful keypad and makes the iPad much more useful.

The product is nice and works well – as a keyboard. If all you ever do is use a keyboard look no further. I use the Apple Pencil about 1/2 the time. Here the product reveals some very fixable shortcomings. There should be a place to store the pencil – you can’t leave it on the side (where the magnets are) or it will surely get lost first time it is bumped. A small groove cut into the side of the keyboard with a mechanical (e.g., friction) connector would do. The second problem is the case does not “clam shell” – fold over onto itself – which makes using something like Goodnotes difficult because the keyboard is in the way. If the keyboard could be folded over entirely so it was out of the way using the pencil would be easy. The majority of the most popular keyboards seem to operate this way. With these two modifications it would easily be a 5 star product.

I like it so far. The keyboard feels a little cheap when I get on a 60-70 WPM roll but I still like the device.

So far ok, slight lag with track pad accompanied with hard tap but very convenient all the same

Recently received my new Brydge with the trackpad it’s lighter than the previous model I had and works beautifully easy to use the trackpad even without sitting at a table fits my iPad perfectly highly recommend it to anyone well worth the price and the wait!!

Good looking and stylish but a little lag on the trackpad. Excellent construction fits nice and snug into the slots that secure the iPad in place. Works for me but not as smooth on the track pad.

The keyboard is fantastic, but the fluency of trackpad and gestures control experience quiet disappointed . I think it could be improve after new firm wear release, and I hope that can add pitch function for zoom the photo or website

Horrible, gestures are unusable, in accurate. I have other brydge products that are great. This one missed the mark by far. Returned it which was also a hassle. Never buying anything from them again!

I have used the keyboard for about 3 weeks and love its ease of use & it was really easy to get connected to my iPad Pro. It didn’t take long to customize the settings for my use and it didn’t take long to learn everything it would do. I don’t regret buying and waiting for it to arrive.

Still a lot of problems with hinge. Loud snapping sound and doesn’t close al the way sometimes. I’m 0 for 2 with this company. Keyboard and track pad is fine.
Marlon Ryan (verified owner) –
So far, I am enjoying using this keyboard with my Ipad Pro.

The keyboard typing function works great. This is my second Brydge Keyboard. I used the first on my iPad Pro. The too on this one does not have enough magnetic strength to hold it securely. It constantly moves which is an annoyance. I assume that you couldn’t incorporate a stronger magnet because the top would be even more top heavy than it is. Because of this, I can’t open it to the ideal angle for me without it toppling over. It’s a definite design flaw.

Very well designed, nice typing experience, pairs easily. 4 Stars should be 4.5 because the only real complaints I have are minor. Using accessibility features to map the “Third Button” or “Three Finger Tap” to bring up the app switcher. When the keyboard goes into low power “sleep” the virtual home button becomes visible, covering part of the display. Which is annoying and since you can’t set the amount of time it takes for the keyboard to go to sleep, it happens often. Scrolling pages is a bit unpredictable as well, which I know is Apple not playing nice. Hopefully that gets better in time.
