   I’m still getting use to the product. The construction is excellent and is exactly what I wanted. My biggest issues are the lack of an “ESC”key, the cursor is spotty, and I’m having significant issues with the keyboard connecting with my iPad. Lastly, I’m surprised that the App does not give you more information about the keyboard – maybe a sense of the battery strengthen. It’s a lot cheaper than the Apple keyboard, but I doubt if I would buy it again.

   The build quality is amazing and I really want to love it but the lack of any official support leaves the trackpad experience feeling more like a hack rather than an integrated part of the device. Having used a Magic Trackpad for a day to test the new multitouch gestures before receiving this product, I was excited for a new way to use my iPad. Unfortunately not being able to do things as simple as two finger swipe to navigate in Safari is, at best, very inconvenient. I shouldn’t have to disable animations and parts of the UI for this to work well. I hope it’s just software and not hardware holding this device back because there is always the Apple branded case… for a cost. Please work with Apple to make this better if that’s at all possible, I really want to love it!

   Not impressed with the quality of this product especially for the price. The mouse pad is very noisy and rattles around when walking with my iPad closed. The back cover never stayed in place so I ended up discarding it altogether. They key travel appears to be different for certain keys which makes it difficult to use for any kind of note taking. I HIGHLY recommend looking into Logitech or Apple’s keyboard offerings.

   Had high hopes for this product… Some pro’s over Apple branded keyboard. (Yes, I have both). But overall, the trackpad is EXTREMELY glitchy. Need to add 3-finger swipe like on Apple keyboard. Also, not a big fan of how it attaches. Apple magnetic attachment is WAY better… A nice idea, but needs a lot of work.

    I am currently waiting for another keyboard to arrive; the first one I received had hinge issues. The iPad would not “close” over the keyboard without having to manual press the hinge which forced an audible “click” or ratcheting sound. Resolution of this issue has taken weeks. My prior iPad keyboard from Brydge had none of these issues. I take very good care of my tech and I like this product. If the replacement unit doesn’t exhibit the same behavior, I’ll happily update my score. If I receive another unit and I have to force click/close the iPad and put undue pressure on the hinges every time to get it to close properly, I will not recommend this unit until Brydge figures out the engineering issues.

    Rubber on hinge came unglued the first time I put iPad into it. Clicking the trackpad takes too much elbow grease.

    I love my Brydge Pro for my iPad Pro 12.9. It makes my iPad look like a mac book! The design is so well fitting. The hinges are better than the previous Brydge keyboard and I don’t feel like it’s going to fall apart. And I’m more in love with the track pad than any other feature. Once software updates are made I’m sure the functionality will be seen less but there is some lag at times. The cursor is adjustable and the with the help of YouTube I found more features than I even knew were possible. When it comes to travel I can take it everywhere. I made a great decision when it came to this purchase. I will not regret it!

    I would give this keyboard 5 stars, but my iPad would not sync with it well enough to use it. I had to return it, and the company was very gracious. The fit with my iPad was wonderful, and the feel, using it, was great. I am sorry it did not work for me. I am back to using my keyboard with no fingerpad. Sigh.
