The keyboard is awesome but has some issues, perhaps caused by Apple. Even with the new firmware 1.0.3 there is NO WAY to disable “Tap-to-Click” it is very annoying to point of not using the Keyboard at all. I went back to my previous Brydge Pro and attached an Apple mouse. Unless you come with a fix, for some of us [had discussed with many people] is not something I would buy if I hated Tap-To-Click…. Otherwise an awesome piece of Hardware.

I will admit, after reading some of the early reviews of the touch pad, I was hesitant. After a few days of using my keyboard, however, I don’t see what all the fuss was about. I think it works well. The fact that Brydge is committed to the updates of the firmware gives me confidence it will only get better too! I pre-ordered the “no touch pad” Brydge Pro when it first came out for my 2018 iPad Pro and was pleased with it, but this Brydge Pro+ seems even better. The backlighting is more visible and the changes in intensity when you press the lighting button are much more noticeable. The key feel seems to be even better as well, more solid/less wobbly. I would still love to see some sort of integrated Apple Pencil storage. Perhaps a small cubby/storage slot of sorts above the top row of keys? But that is a minor issue. Overall, I think this is a great product and I look forward to the continued improvements and more great things from Brydge!

I love the keyboard, the construction is awesome, and I actually like the tiny keys even as a large fat fingered kinda guy. But, I received it with one hinge a little bent, small enough that if I complained about it I was afraid I would be “that customer”, but I am a designer and therefore I can be very retentive and this is one of those moments and it bugs me a lot. Now the second complaint- Here’s the one that annoys me more. I had the first gen keyboard for my 2018 iPad pro 11 and the power port was on the right hand side; so when using the keyboard wired and plugged into the iPad I could place the iPad in the hinges with the volume buttons on top (and the iPad’s power port on the right), that would make the usb-c cord plugged in to both devices on the right side of each device and the cord supplied fit well. Now with the new track pad keyboard the power port is on the left so it does not allow me to place the iPad in the hinges with the volume buttons on top with the supplied usb-c cord. It’s a little thing but it sucks. So I don’t use a cord from some other device and it has a lot of extra length flopping around. Does either effect the performance? no. but for what I paid, I sorta want the little details polished too. Now here is a cool gem- a gem that a very few of you will enjoy. I use this keyboard as my daily design keyboard with my iPad as a connected monitor to my mac mini. so the ipad sits in the keyboard and just above it is my 4k ultra wide 38″ monitor! And it works great. the only thing I wish for is an escape key so I can get out of tool selections in my software, but there are other shortcuts and it was made for an iPad so I will complain about the other things and enjoy it for what I can do with it.

I’ve had my keyboard for a couple weeks now, and am just learning the in’s and outs, but I’ve had a number of others and in comparison this won out does them in every area. The track pad is very sensitive so I will still have to learn to key my thumbs to myself while typing, but that will come with practice.

Trackpad has way too much of a delay. Something like this has to be at least as responsive as the Apple magic keyboard

Second time Ive purchased a Brydge keyboard and in just as happy with the update as I was with my old one. I recommend it to everyone when they get an iPad. Love the viewing angles (better than the magic keyboard IMO). The way the iPad works with the it in terms of function and as a protective case when closed, and the feel of typing on this keyboard.

Absolutely amazing – creates the “touchscreen MacBook” experience perfectly. The placement of the trackpad, as well as the tap/click/gestures et al, it feels authentic and is a perfect addition to the keyboard, completing the feel in a way nothing else could.

Great product. Fits well on the 2020 iPad. Wish back cover was a bit more magnetic. I find mine slipping out of position occasionally.

I had the model w/o trackpad first. Loved the way it worked but one of the hinges broke. So, the I bought the Brydge Pro + for my iPad Pro latest model. In a word, the Brydge Pro + is Fabulous!

I have the Apple magic keyboard and the Brydge Pro+ and I find the Brydge unit to be more laptop like and easier to manipulate the screen angles. The build quality is also higher in the Brydge Pro+.

12.9 iPad Pro has become my daily tool for stuff, and now paired with a pi 4 – a developing tool for on the go. This keyboard makes it all better, and allows me to be even more productive with note taking, emails, messaging, and now developing/coding. BTW firmware updating is ingeniuos – in the first two iterations – have noticed significant improvement, smart decision to make that a feature, takes a good product and give it life, a long deserved and useful life. Quality product, solid feel, useful, and with firmware promises – longevity. Speaking from a guy with a stack of bluetooth keyboards from the last 15 years in his garage.

Keyboard is built well and functionality has gotten more awesome with each update! Will make you feel like you have a laptop.

Great keyboard for my iPad Pro. Very happy with my purchase! The build quality is excellent.

The Brydge wireless keyboard with the trackpad is everything I needed! Now that the iPad updated to having a cursor, it basically turned my iPad Pro into a mini MacBook Pro. The trackpad makes it much easier to swipe, scroll, and browse throughout the apps instead of constantly using the touchscreen. As a college student, it gave me the ability to write papers and do school work with such ease. No issues in bluetooth connection, the keyboard provides the most essential and useful keys, and the battery life is amazing! After using this keyboard everyday for the past 4 days without charging, the battery life is only at 60%! I highly recommend this keyboard if you want to use your iPad Pro to its greatest ability.

I love my new keyboard as I am typing on it right now. I have purchased many keyboards but now I have the right one.

Unable to use my Brydge Pro + without the correct 2020 11in iPad Pro back protective cover. I did receive an email back after contacting support regarding the request for an updated cover but they were not able to give an estimate of when they would return to stock. Also do not like that the scroll functionality is only gesture based(two fingers). Even customizing the Click and Drag function does now work in Chrome or Safari on webpages. You have to use the directional keys to scroll or fast with spacebar but it feels so unnatural compared to a traditional mouse with scroll wheel, which I would rather use over the track pad included with this keyboard. The keys feel like they are slightly loose and some of the top hot keys like browser short cuts aren’t even configured using Brydge’s proprietary software update app. Probably the only thing good about it is it’s typing functionality overall if you needed to create long text strings. I don’t use it as often as I thought I would just because everyday iOS typing/app usage of the on screen keyboard is pretty snappy and sufficient/accurate especially with the new A13Z bionic chipset. The improved 240hz screen touch response is noticeably better than previous iPad models. However if what you do with an iPad requires a lot of typing then I would recommend this keyboard over the magic keyboard for its far better range of viewing. Battery life is excellent and the adjustable backlit keyboard is nice for low light conditions. I would recommend the combination of this and a usb C mouse to give you the full “laptop” convertible experience.
