Build quality is as flawless as ever, so no problems there. The only caveat this amazing keyboard has is the trackpad. For the first time, Brydge had provided an app that helps with the firmware updates, but I would like the trackpad to have multitouch gestures and a smoother scrolling experience, but that’s the price you pay for a third-party Apple accessory. I would DEFINITELY give this keyboard the 5 stars, but the main reason I bought this particular keyboard (and I have the non-trackpad version), was to be able to use the trackpad in a seamless way; nevertheless, the laggy performance of the trackpad Really bogs down the entire experience. For what its worth, it gets most of the job done, but productivity could always increase with more firmware updates.

I’m very disappointed with the trackpad on this keyboard and the latest firmware update does it no justice either! I mean where is pinch to zoom and three finger pinch because there is none and from what I’ve seen it’s going to be a long time coming also. I also noticed the laggy performance in general right away and wouldn’t recommend this keyboard at all! I say save your money!

This is a very nice addition to my iPad. The ergonomic design of the keys are quite comfortable and the design is excellent. Also, the finish is very easy to keep clean including the keyboard area.

This keyboard basically turns your iPad Pro into a MacBook. Great quality. I highly recommend.

THIS PRODUCT HAS CHANGED MY NEED TO CARRY AROUND MY MACBOOK PRO….GREAT FUNCTIONALITY AND FEATURES THAT ALL WORK TO ENHANCE THE IPAD FUNCTIONS.

I love the keyboard overall. The keys feel great, I love the top row of keys, and the keyboard as a whole feels premium and sturdy. The trackpad is pretty good, just wished it had all the Magic Trackpad features/gestures. But, I understand that this may be an issue that Apple is making difficult for Brydge.

I love the way the case fells. It truly turns your IPad into a mini Mac.
Margarete Kling (verified owner) –
Great keyboard, but a little too heavy, and the track pad doesn’t always work smoothly

Hoping for firmware/software updates (soon). As of now, to use Brydge Pro+ effectively, I need need to augment with a Logitech bluetooth mouse. No contest compared against the Magic Keyboard. Would not recommend buying until improvements are made.

Well… The construction seems nice and sturdy, and the infinite viewing angles are nice. (Time will tell whether the hinge holds up.) Everything about the keyboard itself seems fine so far. (Although it would be nice to have a ‘mute’ button, having a row of function keys sure beats having none on Apple’s Magic Keyboard.) HOWEVER, the whole reason for buying this keyboard is the trackpad! Brydge has apparently already made some improvements with firmware updates, but more are very much needed to make it anywhere near Apple’s functionality. The thing that drives me CRAZY is the ‘tap to click’, which is EXTREMELY sensitive. Every Apple laptop or desktop trackpad I have used for the last 20 years has had the ability to turn that off, AND I DO!! I easily have as many accidental clicks as desired clicks with the Brydge trackpad because of the sensitivity. It would also be nice to have the two finger ‘swipe’ between web pages, photos, etc. It would also be nice to be able to ‘pinch and spread’ to zoom in and out on maps, photos, etc. All the things I have been mentioned are functions available on Apple trackpads. (And I may have missed some.) Also, the optional protective back that Brydge gives you for the iPad comes off fairly easily. It either needs to affix more securely , or be a non optional part of a keyboard case. Both Brydge and Apple fail to give you storage For the Apple Pencil. Logitech is the company that got that right. (A closure strap that either holds the pencil or secures it while attached to the iPad when the case is closed. Either choice is magnetically secured.) I actually made a ‘pouch’ for the Apple Pencil that attaches to the back with Velcro! (See pic) I am still hoping that Brydge will update the functionality of the trackpad to be more like Apple’s.

Best keyboard/trackpad combo for iPad Pro BY FAR. Apple’s Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro pales in comparison. It’s a toy compared to the Brydge Pro+ I was on the phone with an Apple tech specialist (who was amazing like usual) the other day on a question regarding my iPad Pro, and told him how Brydge had managed to “out-Appled” Apple with the release of the Brydge Pro+. The only way Apple can possibly respond to Brydge’s exceptional design, manufacturing and marketing is to buy Brydge and retain all of their management and employees. They’re literally that good. Thank you Brydge, you’ve taken my iPad from a use-it-once-every-other-day OK device to a must-have use-it-all-day necessity. They should call this new combo the MacBook Pro+. FYI, my desktop is a new iMac 27″, and I’m hardly using that right now. Run, don’t walk, to pick up one of these revolutionary devices

So far, everything is working great. I’m still on the learning curve with all the gestures, but getting better. Love the features and convenience of the trackpad. Good job!

I love the look of this product, it makes the iPad look like a laptop, however it isn’t able to execute this fully because the trackpad is being held back by the software, and while this isn’t completely their fault because Apple holds back its competitors for obvious reasons, i just wish in a perfect world, this wasn’t the case. Keyboard works well.

This is my second Brydge keyboard. It is much better than the first one. The typing touch has been greatly improved. I like being able to use this when it is on my lap and I can set the screen angle of my ipad easily.
Gerhard Smith (verified owner) –
I’m sure the keyboard and trackpad will be great but I would really like for Brydge to find a more permanent way to attach the apple pencil which I use a lot with the 12.9 inch iPad
Kariane Jones (verified owner) –
I bought the keyboard a year or so ago and it worked fine. I love it. It a computer on the go. I called the combination a MacPad. However, until recently, I noticed that the battery kept draining, won’t hold. As such I am back using Apple Keyboard (Yuk). I have preordered the new keyboard and am going to call it MacPadPro. If it works, I think this keyboard beats all others.

Although I like the product, there are several features lacking that the magic keyboard has. It would be great to add as many of these features as possible
Gabrielle Sauer (verified owner) –
I love the keyboard! Not particularly fond of the magnetic back for the iPad. It’s not secure and loose.

Typing this review on the keyboard. So far excellent. The colour (space grey) matches perfectly, the fit is amazing and the whole product feels very solid. Wish I would have purchased sooner. Set up was easy and I was up and running quickly.

Great product that is well supported by the manufacturer, and getting better all the time.
