Featuring four bays populated with four 4TB SATA III hard drives providing a total storage capacity of 16TB, this storage array is optimized for reliable 24/7 operation. Connect to networks via two RJ45 ports supporting Gigabit and 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet. Supporting RAID 0, 1, 4, 5, 6, 10, and JBOD modes, this NAS server allows for easy hot swapping of drives, too.
Boasting a 1.4 GHz Alpine AL214 quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM, this NAS array is designed for smooth multitasking. Connect devices via two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports. In addition to TCP and IP protocols, the TeraStation 3420 supports SMB or CIFS, AFP, FTP and FTPS, SFTP, NFS, and RSYNC network files. Compatible client operating systems include Windows 7 and later, Windows Server 2012 and later, and Mac OS X 10.11 and later. The TeraStation 3420 4-Bay NAS Server comes with NASNavigator2 and NovaBACKUP Buffalo Edition software.
