Wife absolutely loves it so that’s all that really matters, right? Produce arrived just fine – well packaged but appeared to come from a third party not hd. Looks nice and silent mechanism. Looks sharp at night when lights are low – but it needs to be near complete darkness for the sensor to turn on the light. This needs a double a battery for the clock mechanism and 4x d batteries for the light. No idea how long those will last. 2x of the d batteries go on one side and 2x on the other which helps make sure this clock won’t pull down or hang crooked The copper part is 100% plastic. Looking at it you wouldn’t know but when you touch it feels a bit cheap – good thing no one touches clocks. The outer edge of the clock actually sits about 1/8-1/4 inch away from the wall. I was not a fan of that when I hung it but haven’t noticed it since then. Sincerely VP of my household.
