   If you have an old monitor with a vga input this is a simple way to connect to a newer computer with only display port outputs.

   The Display Port Male to VGA Female active adapter converter is a good display port adapter active adapter. I purchased two of these active adapters for my Nvidia Quadro Video card but only one of these adapters can be installed on to one the video card display ports. But overall I am happy with this purchase.

   Connects and works but then randomly drops. When it fails it caused the PC to reboot. I am using these on new Dell 3040s that come with only HDMI and DisplayPort.
