Works great for connecting external eSATA devices. Good construction as I’ve alway found with CablesToGo cables. Better shielding and cable diameter is an advantage… giving me piece of mind so that I don’t worry about external interference and knowing it will last a very long time. The *only* thing I didn’t like was buying a 6ft cable instead of 3ft. This was *my fault*… in not actually measuring the distance first. The shorter 3ft would have been *only* OK. Wish I’d found a 4ft selection. I will probably go ahead and purchase the shorter 3ft cable to use also. I’m currently connecting to a port on the *front* of the tower.

I needed a longer cable for my WD MyBook external drive. I use primarily as a backup device. I was using the USB port but the esata works much better. The length is long enough to locate my external drive on the other side of my desk from my desktop. The ends fit nice and tight. No worries that the cable will accidently come off. Cable is of good quality. Shipping was quick and arrived in a couple days.
