This is by far my favorite pan from Calphalon. It has great heat distribution and clean up is oh so simple. I am the cook in my home and i own the entire range of Caphalon pots and pans to match this one. I have had mine since march of 2019 and it is by far the number one pot I turn to when I’m cooking just about anything. I love the height of the walls of the pan and its non stick powers. On those weekend mornings where it is just my wife and I, I can easily use this one pan to cook our whole breakfast (Bacon, sausage, eggs, french toast) and usually all at the same time. I have since bought several more of them as gifts for the coming holidays and cannot wait to give them. When you buy this pan you will not be disappointed!!!

A bit easier to damage than I thought. But this is not a Home Depot problem. Just expected a pot this expensive to be a bit tougher

Seven quarts is a large size for a sauteuse, but that is a great advantage–it takes up less space on a crowded cook top or it will fit into an oven, even a smaller 24 inch wall oven. Upon arrival, we washed it and slightly oiled it with olive oil and began sauteing the Cajun trinity–onions, bell peppers, and celery and we added minced garlic, enough to make Cajun jambalaya and maque choux for 200 plus guests.This saute pan made it through its baptism of fire and was easy to clean and get ready for a green bean casserole. We will purchase another pan because we see the ease of use and clean up this pan makes our cooking (and clean up!) for family and friends so much easier.

This is my favorite Calphalon pan because of it’s shape and size. It’s perfect for so many things, especially when I’m not working from a recipe and don’t know how small or big the dish will become. The wide & shallow shape works beautifully. Also love the easy clean up! Only negative is that the handles get hot – but that’s what hot pads are for 🙂

Seriously listen to the reviews on this and grab it! Love the entire contemporary line! I ordered the 12 piece set and upon reviews for this I ordered this as well! It’s large, but perfect for a roast or frying/browning chicken for a large family gathering!
