This stainless steel pour and strain pan by calphalon is so nice. It’s a well built heavy pan and it holds up to 3.5 qt of liquid. And cleaning it is a breeze it is dishwasher safe and oven safe up to 450 degrees. It has a strainer lid which comes in handy when you need to pour things and it also has a little spout on the side to make pouring even easier. I used it to boil my tea and it made it a breeze to pour the liquid into my tea jug which has a small hole and is hard to pour things in without spilling it everywhere and with using this pan with the lid and spout it was a breeze to pour it up. I love this pan and as usual I wasn’t disappointed in the calphalon brand.

I’ve never owned a set of pans that are made with such detail and strength. These pans can cook anything you want in them without an issue. It’s tough, durable, and things don’t stick to the bottom of the pan like most others. This one comes with a built in strainer on the lid which is a huge convenience at a affordable price. These are the top of the top and I Suggest you get these if you want quality and get your moneys worth.

This is a very nice sauce pan to have in the kitchen. The sauce pan cooks well and also has a great feature on the lid which acts a strainer. I can cook and use the lid and the sides of the pan has an opening to strain over the sink without using a separate one. I can also put the pan in the dishwasher which is very nice.

I’ve been using this pan for a couple weeks. I love everything about it. It is a great heavy pan, nonworrys the heat from the stove top or even will make it misshapen. I’ve cooked everything from oatmeal to mashed potatoes in it and nothing has stuck so far. Just rinses right out. The potatoes were actually forgotten over night in the pan, but amazingly the next day I just washed them out with a wash rag, no scrubbing. The slotted lid makes it easy to drain from potatoes to pasta without pulling out another utensil. Even the lid is heavy and well made just like the pan. The pan heats evenly, no hot spots. I really love the rounded bottom, looks elegant but also doesnt give spots to start discoloration. This is the most beautiful pan I have ever owned.

I have used Calphalon in the past, but I had never tried their stainless steel products. This 3.5-quart pan is heavy duty and a good size for multiple uses. The quality of the pan itself is very good and it cooks evenly. One added benefit to this product as well is that the lid is designed with a built-in strainer. This is a great option to save time and also save getting another dish dirty. This is a great pan, and I would love to get more sizes in this same Premier Stainless Steel collection!
