I was interested in this pan for several reasons: my old sauce pan (same size) had some problems with food sticking, it didn’t have a lid, and the handle was too skinny and slippery. I started eating Paleo about a year ago, and the only thing that makes the food good is to make good sauce. That said, I got fed up with the sauce sticking to my old pan and decided to give this one a try. Though I did receive this pan for free, the thoughts and opinions listed here are my own. My favorite sauce consists of a whole chopped onion, several whole cloves of garlic, oil, and a bit of tomato paste, with chicken broth added in at the end. In my old pan, the sauce would start sticking about 6 minutes in and left me with gross, burnt tomato gunk, but in the new pan- no sticking at all! So, I didn’t have to sit there stirring it every 30 seconds, and I could put the lid on and walk away. Transferring the sauce to my blender is also a piece of cake because the handle is super easy to grip with a heavy load in the pan. I give this pan an A+!

I received this pan and made a sticky mess (aka sugar syrup) to make homemade marshmallows as the first thing… because how better to test a nonstick pan than with something super sticky? The syrup poured out without hesitation into my mixer and cleanup was a breeze! I am so incredibly pleased with the quality of these pans and I definitely plan on purchasing more. *While I received this product for free, the opinions and thoughts included in this review are my own.

Had bought a Calphalon set about 10 years ago. One of the saucepans was worn out and I needed to replace it. Was afraid this one would not match the set. But it goes perfectly with my old set and so nice to have a clean fresh finish.

I’m really impressed with my new pot! It is heavy duty and I love the handle on the lid. I cooked some beans in it and they turned out great! The last set of pots I bought was from a reputable company but the quality of those are nothing like the quality of these, I would love a whole set of these!

I have an assortment of sauce pans in my cupboard, but for the past few weeks this pan is definitely my go-to sauce pan! I received this pan at no-charge, but I would buy it and other Calphalon pans like it in a heartbeat now that I have used it over and over. It heats evenly and cleans up with no problem – even with sticky recipes like homemade caramel sauce. I love the long handle and clear lid, allowing me to keep an eye on things as they cook. I love Calphalon products and am a big fan!

I have a flat top range, so the cookware I use needs to be perfectly flat on the bottom, which this sauce pan is. I’ve used it to make soup, for pasta sauces, and to cook rice, and it has sustained a nice, even temperature. My favorite part is that it is dishwasher safe, which many nonstick items aren’t. But I have found the sauce pan to remain perfectly nonstick after several cycles through the dishwasher. It’s really nice.
