I truly enjoy using this pan. It’s the first one I’ve ever owned that does not get “hot handles”. The handles have a rubber piece, that prevents your fingers from burns. Also unlike my other pans, this one is dishwasher safe. This is a HUGE deal, as I absolutely hate washing dishes! Plus, I never have to scrub burned food from this pan anyhow—- It’s stainless, but heats evenly & cooks perfectly each time!!!This pan also includes a tempered glass lid. The lid allows you to watch as your food cooks, and it featured the same rubber handle as the pan itself. This makes it so much easier to remove the lid without being burned! While the handles are rubber, they’re also oven safe. I’m not sure how Calphalon managed this, but it’s true. I’ve placed this pan in the oven, and not had a single issue. I don’t recommend grabbing the rubber handle out of the oven though. As long as the oven temp is under 400, this pan is the perfect pick! It even features Calphalons 10 year full warranty so, if anythi g goes awry, you can send it back & have it replaced. Easy peasy!I’m a cooking enthusiast, and this pan works well for my needs. I used this sauce pan for a couple things so far…boiled water for tea and stuffing. This size could be perfect for anything from pasta sauces, soups, and rice. I love that the handle on both the pan and lid do not get hot. When I was using the lid for the stuffing I did notice that if it’s not perfectly lined on top of the pan, steam will escape. I’m not sure if that’s made like that on purpose but it’s really not a big deal to me. There’s only one little thing I didn’t like which was how small the handle on the lid was. I felt I was pinching my fingers to pick up the lid…or maybe I just have big fingers! Very easy to clean! As usual calphalon has done It again. This time it is with a 3 1/2 qt sauce pan and lid. The calphalon sauce pan feels sturdy but no to heavy. The stay cool handle is nice so you don’t have to scramble to find a pot holder. The lid is clear so you can look into the pot to see what is going on which I love. Boiling potatoes was a snap, the water came to an even boil and cooked them perfectly. The pan heats evenly and quick.The sauce pan can go from the stove top to the oven (up to 400 degrees) which i did when I made stuffing in it tonight. I like my stuffing to have a crunchy top, so it was nice to make in on the burner then finish in the oven. Clean up was a breeze too. You can use the pan on gas or electric and can go right into the dishwasher. It is also very elegant looking. I couldn’t be more impressed with the Select Stainless Steel 3.5-Quart sauce pan. The handle stays cool while I cook, so I don’t have to attempt to manuever around my kitchen clumsily wearing oven mitts. It’s beyond dishwasher safe – I like to pretend that having a dishwasher means that I don’t need to rinse my dishes before putting them in, but this pan rinsed clean nonetheless! I especially like the size of the pan. I have an entire set of the Calphalon stainless steel and this 3.5 quarts pan helps with the versatility of the set. I plan to purchase another 2 quart pan that I accidentally damaged when not paying attention and prolonged Heat. Totally my fault.

I’ve wanted a quality, stainless steel constructed sauce pan with glass lid for a long time, so I was excited to use this product. It looks great and feels very sturdy and comfortable. One of my favorite things about this pan is the comfort grip with stay-cool handles. It’s comfortable to hold and I don’t have to worry about burning myself while holding the pan. The even heating is also really nice and I haven’t had issues with food burning on the bottom. Finally, the icing on the cake (for me) is that it’s dishwasher safe and has a full 10 year warranty.
