This blender exceeded my expectations! It is very sturdy and durable. I love that it has different settings for milkshakes, protein shakes, and smoothies. They all turn out perfect. It even has its own travel cup for the shakes! It is also quieter than I expected which is an added bonus.

The box in the packaging were nice everything was individually wrapped and secured. Assembly was easy. The blender was a little tall for my counter I had to pull it out from under them to get the lid off. The travel container that came with the blender had a cap that was difficult to screw on and off. The blender had a lot of power to it. I like the smart sensing blades. The front display was clear and easy to read. The backing feature came in handy for tough ice cubes.

Love how the blender sits firmly into the base!. You can put it down, hit “Smoothie’ and walk away. I also like the countdown feature. It also will pause every few seconds and rotate the blade both clockwise and counter clockwise. A very good buy!

The best attribute of the blender is that it is automated. I like the fact that I do not have to stop and shake the ingredients inside to make sure that my drink is completely blended. The style of the blender is appealing but it is too heavy for my liking. I like that there are minimal buttons to press in order to get my end result. I also like that there are just a few pieces to pull apart and wash. I found it difficult to remove the filler cap to add more ingredients if I need it to. Using this blender made it convenient for me to quickly make my morning smoothies before work. It is super easy to clean and fits perfectly on my counter.

PRO:Wow! What a great blender Calphalon has produced! So simple to use and works like a pro-model found in a restaurant! I make several sauces, dips, smoothies, and shakes. This blender does the job of mixing, blending, chopping, and processing all in one. My latest creation was freshly made stone ground spicy dijon mustard. The blender pulvarized all the seeds that were at the bottom of the blender to a creamy stone ground consistency. The options to dial in exactly what your trying to make gives you the flexibility to use the blender for many types of foods. This blender has a reverse pulse option which I have never seen on other high end or high priced blenders. What a great feature to have and use!CON:The lid is my only major issue. As stated, I made mustard and the seeds stuck into the corner of the top of the lid where its difficult to get out. The design of the lid on the inside could have been smooth in the corner to prevent this from trapping food. The only other major drawback is that the pitcher is made of plastic and not glass. While the plastic is lighter, it could scratch or stain over time.

I love the Calphalon blender and am very happy with the quality of it and it’s features. My family eats a lot of eggs and we’ve used it a lot for making omelets and love putting all the ingredients in so it chops them all up. I love the different settings for milkshake and smoothie as it makes things so easy to make. I think the retail price is a little high and I’m not sure I would purchase it at that price but it is easy to use and cleanup is very quick and simple. I am overall very pleased with the product.

The Calphalon blender was a great addition to my small appliances. The gray color goes with almost any color scheme; however, it will not fit on my countertop below my cabinets when it is assembled for storage. I was truly amazed at the features. Just press a button and it does the blending speed and time for you. It is also nice that it comes with a smoothie cup as well. I will definitely be using this blender regularly!

I was immediately impressed by this calphalon blender, it has some weight to it! the finish is very classy and makes it look elegant, even sitting on my counter. So far we’ve only used it to make malts, but it is super powerful and amazing at taking big scoops of ice cream and making short work of turning that into a delicious dessert. Love it and very pleased to add it to our kitchen tool collection.
