The color from my Canon Pro 1000 is amazing. I have to buy ink more often than I would like, but the results are justified in my opinion.
Consuelo Kuhlman (verified owner) –
This is an excellent ink at an enormous price point. I will but it again because it is the only price that you will find it at in the world, unless you go third party and I’m not doing that! Happy Printing!
Dolly Lemke (verified owner) –
you get what you pay for. prints awesome photos

i bought this to replace the original ink that came with the printer. It works as it should. I feel like inks are over priced but that’s jus my opinion. The Canon Pro 1000 is a great printer. I used to use epson, but I got tired of the ink clogs.

I’m not at all impressed with Canon’s Chroma Optimizer. It covers a page for every print, even the white spaces. It takes about 3 or 4 CO tanks for each change of ink tanks. Not at all reasonable and from what I see, of little of no value. Only problem is, the printer demands it for every print.

The ink cartridge works great in a great printer
Katelyn Kling (verified owner) –
The ink prints excellent photos in a great printer.

This is a terrific printer and the inks are superb. When you load the inks in the printer the first time, they’ll all drop to about 50%, but that’s just the lines filling up. The second time you install inks they will last much longer. Print quality is many times better than what I got with Epson, and the Canon is able to accept all kinds of paper, not just proprietary paper.

Love this paper.

No matter what the paper is….Canon or Red River, I always get wonderful results from my printer with Canon ink. It is so easy to get a real, professional photo at home for me or actual customer. Had to get individual tanks this time because the ink set is unavailable at this time.

This ink is very good and it works much better in my PRO-1000 than any other brand. The PFI-1000 LUCIA PRO fits into the printer nicely; the other brands… well, not so much. I’m sure Epson makes fine ink and cartridges, but they don’t fit in the Canon worth a darn.
Josie Kihn (verified owner) –
Good ink -generally the Pro 1000 uses all the ink in the cartridge. Blacks are super black
Ezekiel Fay (verified owner) –
Standard Canon Lucia ink. Looks good, works fine but the printer sure does drink it fast, especially since it’s priced relatively high compared to ink-use in the major competitors.
Marc Crona (verified owner) –
While the Canon inks are quite over-priced (by Cannon), they work well and the printer handles them nicely. I’ve tried refills and find they tend to clog heads (although the color is good with them). I stick with manufacturers brand simply because it treats the printer kindly.
Karli Macejkovic (verified owner) –
way to expensive
Benedict Hand (verified owner) –
The Canon PFI-1000 is an amazing printer with ink to match
Maxime Wiza (verified owner) –
I wouldn’t buy the cheaper knockoff inks. This Canon product delivers consistent, archival quality printing. No issues. Very happy with it.

The only thing that actually works in the Canon Imageprograf-1000. (I’ve tried the re-fills & off-brand, they tend to hurt the printer.) Canon keeps the price far to high. It works & makes good prints.

This is true Canon Lucia Pro ink and works just fine in the Canon ImageProGraph printer. Lately I’ve noticed it seems to empty a little fast so I compared pre-use weight. The newer tanks appear to be about 0.1 oz lighter than the older ones. Not much that can be done since it’s Canon supplying it.
