The ink works great but for what Canon charges for their ink, they should give their printers away free of charge.

The Pro 1000 seems to use most of the pigment inks at the same rate so after 18 months we needed almost all the ink cartridges. This kit was convenient but it is hard to look at a $700 lump expense. It seems to hurt less at 1 or 2 cartridges at a time, but not really – that is more expensive actually. Anyhow, this printer & ink combo produces STUNNING quality.

To expensive. The printer makes the best prints I have ever seen but plan on spending 700 every three months. Cost more than my car to maintain this printer

Using the best ink for your printer helps it remain viable and protects your investment – if you care about your printer – use good ink ! This … is good ink !

I use these with Canon pro 1000 and color is always good!

I usually buy this ink per cartridge, but like to have an extra of each on hand. You save a few dollars by purchasing the 12 ink tank set.

I always had Epson printers for my fine-art photography, but when my R2400 died, I replaced it with the Canon ProGraf Pro-1000 printer, which I love. It has a large set of inks as well as an ink cartridge that puts a clear coat on the image to protect it. The photo black works great on semi-gloss papers I use such as Ilford Gold Fibre Gloss and Canson Baryta Photographique II.

The Canon P1000 printer is without question the best printer I have ever owned. Vibrant colors, rich blacks. Stunning B&W and platinum prints. All owing to the pigment inks from Canon. I agree, they are pricey. I print mostly 16×20 prints and I find I get plenty of prints from the cartridges, including the CO cartridge. I find I use the CO cartridge at the same rate as the other cartridges.

The color from my Canon Pro 1000 is amazing. I have to buy ink more often than I would like, but the results are justified in my opinion.

While the Canon inks are quite over-priced (by Cannon), they work well and the printer handles them nicely. I’ve tried refills and find they tend to clog heads (although the color is good with them). I stick with manufacturers brand simply because it treats the printer kindly.

No matter what the paper is….Canon or Red River, I always get wonderful results from my printer with Canon ink. It is so easy to get a real, professional photo at home for me or actual customer. Had to get individual tanks this time because the ink set is unavailable at this time.

one of my fave papers, metal like prints at a fraction of the costs.

Like all the Canon ink tanks for the Pro-1000, this looks great, but is expensive to replace.

This is the ink of choice for my favorite printer

I mean there isn’t much to say about these. They are what they are, and you need them for your Pro-1000. That being said, I appreciate that the large-ish volume makes the ink more economical than canon’s cheaper printers like the pro-10. I also love the richness and color accuracy of these inks, though I’m not sure if that’s really feedback about this ink set or about the printer they are used in. Either way, great ink. Definitely don’t go to the trouble to buy an expensive, top of the line printer and then ruin its ability to ensure color accuracy by using in-calibrated third party ink.

The Canon PFI-1000 is an amazing printer with ink to match

Really good ink! A bit pricy, but it’s pretty big and combined with the other 11 cartridges, it will last a wile. (Depending on how much you print of course)
