Great ink for a great printer.

I don’t print but once a month and find this ink last pretty well considering. The quality is top notch to match my expectations for selling.

While the Canon inks are quite over-priced (by Cannon), they work well and the printer handles them nicely. I’ve tried refills and find they tend to clog heads (although the color is good with them). I stick with manufacturers brand simply because it treats the printer kindly.

Does your Pro-1000 eat ink? Yeah, that gives those prints that beautiful color and depth-but-hot daxn-$$$$ There really is no substitute for OEM inks- so shut up and fork up. B&H gets it to you fast and without hassles.

There are cheaper option from China but I didn’t buy a Professional quality printer to use cheap inks. I want to deliver the best quality archival prints possible. This is the only choice (other than custom ink mixes) if you really care about your work in my opinion. It’s Just not about money.

No matter what the paper is….Canon or Red River, I always get wonderful results from my printer with Canon ink. It is so easy to get a real, professional photo at home for me or actual customer. Had to get individual tanks this time because the ink set is unavailable at this time.

I use these with Canon pro 1000 and color is always good!

I’m not at all impressed with Canon’s Chroma Optimizer. It covers a page for every print, even the white spaces. It takes about 3 or 4 CO tanks for each change of ink tanks. Not at all reasonable and from what I see, of little of no value. Only problem is, the printer demands it for every print.

My fave paper

Only reason I gave it 4 stars is you will need allot of these if your making large prints or large orders.

I looked everywhere for ink and paper. Like many artist I was desperate for both. I found it at B&H along with amazing quick service. If you are an artist you know what it’s like to run out of the materials you need to be creative. B&H has made sure that I will never run out of ink and paper. I am glad, because I will never run out of creative ideas that require ink and paper.
