I always had Epson printers for my fine-art photography, but when my R2400 died, I replaced it with the Canon ProGraf Pro-1000 printer, which I love. It has a large set of inks as well as an ink cartridge that puts a clear coat on the image to protect it. The photo black works great on semi-gloss papers I use such as Ilford Gold Fibre Gloss and Canson Baryta Photographique II.

I use these with Canon pro 1000 and color is always good!

True Canon ink supplied so it works like it should. Kind of hard to get with various tanks on back order regularly. B&H keeps to the suggested price – no extra costs which is good. However this is one of the highest cost-per-photo inks around with no really good alternative., so I’d rate it OK.

I mean there isn’t much to say about these. They are what they are, and you need them for your Pro-1000. That being said, I appreciate that the large-ish volume makes the ink more economical than canon’s cheaper printers like the pro-10. I also love the richness and color accuracy of these inks, though I’m not sure if that’s really feedback about this ink set or about the printer they are used in. Either way, great ink. Definitely don’t go to the trouble to buy an expensive, top of the line printer and then ruin its ability to ensure color accuracy by using in-calibrated third party ink.

Effective coating for making images pop, just wish it was cheaper as it tends to run out before the other inks.

the Cyan tank gets a better-than-average print/tank ratio than most others. That’s probably a function of the printer algorithm than the tank. I stick with the Canon tanks, since an off-brand substitute I tried almost killed the printer (clogging).

i guess we should not grip because we got the printers for very little but canon gets it all back with very expensive inks….and regarding the 1000pro there are many many inks…thats why the printed images are so fantastic…many inks…I suspect the inks are made for penneys in china but have not researched that.,

Best ink out there.

This is an excellent ink at an enormous price point. I will buy it again because it is the only price that you will find it at in the world, unless you go third party and I’m not doing that! Happy Printing!

This was my first time reloading the inks and I’m thrilled that once these were installed, the system allowed me a dozen prints showing NO movement in the levels of the ink, since there was obviously plenty of ink in the system overall already. Unlike the first usage when it was new it immediately showed only half full. NOW with the reloading of these it maintains a much higher level. Unlike many folks I turn my printer OFF when not in use. It uses less test ink preparing the system for print contrary to some reviewers.

Great Paper

I wouldn’t buy the cheaper knockoff inks. This Canon product delivers consistent, archival quality printing. No issues. Very happy with it.

While the Canon inks are quite over-priced (by Cannon), they work well and the printer handles them nicely. I’ve tried refills and find they tend to clog heads (although the color is good with them). I stick with manufacturers brand simply because it treats the printer kindly.

greater printer

Genuine Canon pigment ink and works just like it should. I appreciate B&H because they stock it more consistently than the Canon company store and don’t inflate the price. Good job.

Works great!

What can you say about an ink cart. that is the only thing your printer uses? PBK tanks tend to give better prints/tank than most of the others – seems to be just a function of the printing algorithm. Once upon a time I tried some refilled tanks. Almost killed the printer. Sticking with these, even if they do cost too much.

Great ink for a great printer.

They work as they should.

Works fine-is the most used ink for this printer.
