Works perfectly!

I am so happy with my Canon Pro-1000 printer!! I switched from Espon a few years ago and I couldn’t be happier!! The consistency of my prints is awesome, which has saved me a lot of money in inks and paper not being wasted.
Grady Upton (verified owner) –
Great ink tank, for the best printer

I always had Epson printers for my fine-art photography, but when my R2400 died, I replaced it with the Canon ProGraf Pro-1000 printer, which I love. It has a large set of inks as well as an ink cartridge that puts a clear coat on the image to protect it. The magenta works great on semi-gloss papers I use such as Ilford Gold Fibre Gloss and Canson Baryta Photographique II.

Great but expensive.
Yesenia Monahan (verified owner) –
Good quality ink but at a price many times more expensive than third party products, some of which now score as high or higher than OEM inks.

No matter what the paper is….Canon or Red River, I always get wonderful results from my printer with Canon ink. It is so easy to get a real, professional photo at home for me or actual customer. Had to get individual tanks this time because the ink set is unavailable at this time.

It is really red!

Order off brand ink from those who sell it, there is no guarantee that you get what you ordered or what you get won’t harm your printer. Stick with Canon and you can’t go wrong.

The Canon Lucia Pro ink is pigment based instead of the much more common dye based inks. The pigment meets museum archival standards and lays on the paper with more density and less spreading than thinner inks thus preserving details. The 80ml capsules last a long time, reducing overall cost. Highly recommended.

You get the best color & tones with these OEM.

Like all the Canon ink tanks for the Pro-1000, this looks great, but is expensive to replace.

Only ink I will use in my Canon Pro 1000

This is a terrific printer and the inks are superb. When you load the inks in the printer the first time, they’ll all drop to about 50%, but that’s just the lines filling up. The second time you install inks they will last much longer. Print quality is many times better than what I got with Epson, and the Canon is able to accept all kinds of paper, not just proprietary paper.

The color from my Canon Pro 1000 is amazing. I have to buy ink more often than I would like, but the results are justified in my opinion.

The only thing that actually works in the Canon Imageprograf-1000. (I’ve tried the re-fills & off-brand, they tend to hurt the printer.) Canon keeps the price far to high. It works & makes good prints.

I’ve tried 3rd party inks in the past for this. They tend to clog the print heads, where the real Canon stuff will work fine. I’ll stay with Canon (even if it is over-priced and the printer seems to like to drink it.)CO tanks are priced a few bucks under the other inks, but they drain rapidly. Not sure that they give any value to the print, but the printer won’t work without it. I’ve tried 3rd party inks in the past for this.
