   Reliable ink, true colors. Previous attempts at using third party ink resulted in horrible photos, clogged print head. My advice, stick with Canon ink.

    It’s fairly good product except that the black ink tank was eliminated in the (3) package set because of my Model number. The 4 Pack has the black ink tank except for my MX 850 model. It’s clean and easy to install and the colors are vibrant. The Cyan color seems to disapate faster than the other colors.

    I learned a long time ago to use on the Original Manufacture Ink. Canon Ink makes my PIXMA Pro9000 print dazzling, brilliant, full color range photographs. Off Market refill inks will never perform as Canon ink. Trust me, I have over 10 years experience with Canon Photo printers and Canon inks.

    In a color managed workflow, it is about consistency accurate color. Canon brand inks deliver…every time! They are not the least expensive, but how do you value your time and wasted media?

    I use a Canon Pro9000 printer that requires 8 colors. Red & Green are unusual for a printer. These colors help provide a broad spectrum of accurate color and smooth blending, especially for larger format prints (13×19). On the down side, colors do have a tendency to fade in bright natural light. I also wish the ink reservoir were larger. I’m not sure the built in LED indicators are worth the increase in cartridge price. Cartridges are always well packaged, fresh and present no problems in replacement or operation.

    The CLI series of ink is good for portrait printing on my Pro 9000 printer; the volume is small, but for the average user this should be okay!

    I have been using these inks with a 9000 Mark II for several years. They are great except for the high cost and low volume.
