I use the CLI-8 cartridges in my Canon Pro9000 printer. I am a semi-pro photographer and photography is my hobby. When I print about 200 photos at a time, it is cheaper for me to print my own photos if you consider my time and effort and cost to travel to a local store, drop off a print order, and travel again to pick it up. Only to find the colors were not true. I have had to go back many times. When I print at home, the colors are true to what I saw in the field. The CLI-8 colors are steadfast and true.

I use a Canon Pixma 9000 printer, Canon paper and get great results with Canon ink. For me, it is not worth trying cheaper non-branded ink cartridges.

Good price for good ink. Use it for day to day printing of documents and pictures. Only draw back is my printer MP960 tells me to replace the cartridge long before time to really replace it. My opinon the photo cartridges are an overkill for ink.

Ihave tried other inks for my printer just to save money. The results were not worth the little I saved. The photos faded quickly and the colors were not as bright and clear as the with the Canon ink. This is the way to go if you’re fussy about the way your prints look.

I like the fact that this item will be taken care very quickly if something is wrong by people who don’t just pass the buck, or ignore your complaint. Iv’e worked in retail for over ten years and bought from the internet longer. For the money on the average this is the best price your gonna get. Good job to the folks at B&H. Oh yea, the Canon CLI-8PC ink is great but I wish it came in a 4 pack with the CLI-8PM, CLI-8Y,and CLI-8BK to bring down the price a little for the inks that get used up the quickest.

I find I have to dial in less magenta when using dye based Canon printers. I use this in the 9000 II and, I’m guessing when I ask for less magenta, it targets the photo magenta cartridge rather than the magenta. So it means I have to stock more of this color, but so beit. Results are great.
