    love the prints I get from this ink with pro platinum paper on my pixma 9000 printer. I just wish the cartridges depleted a little more evenly. It seems some empty much sooner than others. Other than that I would give this 5 stars.

    Used in a Pro9000 Mark 2. Clear prints, no clogging. They hold up well (do not dry out) if installed and left unused for longer periods of time (weeks). Granted these are not pigmented inks like those used in the Pro9500 which do dry out fast after installation under limited use. Red and Green tend to be the least used colors in my experience (as well as from reading reviews elsewhere on the net), but as a multipack price these two colors ended up being free when compared to the total cost of buying each tank in the multipack individually.

    Canon printers make great photos. (plus)(now minus)They WAY over-claim the page count. They claim 280 pages for this cartridge,its barely 25 for anything with skin tones. So you have to stand by while printing photos to change ink cartridges every few minutes (1 of the 8 is constantly running out), so cannot really just hit print with full ink and get 50 prints. Expect to change an ink cartridge every 5 or 10 sheets or so. Seriously, Ink is basically free. If the cartridges printed 10x what they do (as claimed) I’d recommend it. But a box of photo paper costs hundreds of dollars to print. If price matters, don’t buy canon. Ink is $15 x8 is 120 so $ for every 25 prints on average. With paper cost over $ for 100 full page prints.

    I’ve never had trouble with these cartridges. B&H has a good price …. This is still pricey ink, but way better than my old HP printer’s 8-color ink pack (!). Ink usage is unpredictable, so it’s good they offer 3-packs, 4-packs and individual cartridges as well.

    Purchasing ink in the Multipack is the most convenient and economical way to purchase ink. Having the Mulitpack means not having to wait to print until you can purchase more ink when you suddenly run out. You are assured of having a spare on hand for any color to help you finish your project.
