Awesome price, this was over $125 in Staples when I checked, but at $, still pretty high. These inks lasted quite a while, I went through about 100 4×6’s I would say. The ink tank says its empty, but I can usually get about 10 more pictures out of it before lines start to appear. Pair this ink with canon pro platinum on my mark ii pro 9000 printer, and you can’t tell the difference from professionally printed pictures. Overall great product.

Awesome toner for great price. I have used many of them, since i print quite a bit and they never failed. Consisted colors and good for budget. One thing on the cons side is the tank size, but i don’t blame them, since all the toners are sitting on the print head, and that minimizes vibrations when printing (PIXMA 9000mk ii)

I always use original Canon inks. They’re expensive but why risk compromising image quality or damaging your printer.

This cannot so much be a review of the cartridges themselve; after all, they are Canon, fit the printer, and perform as they should. It is a grateful nod to B&H, however, which has in stock, as other local and regional providers do not, the required inks (Yellow & Green as well), send them expeditiously (as always). B&H has been a trusted source for all my photographic needs for years. Well done.

My aging Canon 6600 printer works quite well with the cli-8 series of inks, I am usually pleased with the results, the only complaint is that the ink seems to disappear fairly rapidly, as I don’t print many photos, but seem to replace ink too often. Perhaps if I used it faster/more often the results would be better.

I don’t print my work often enough, but when I do I want I want the print to match what I see on my calibrated monitor. I print with a Canon 9000 II and make sure the proper paper profiles are installed. In post I make sure white balance and so forth are correct. So why would I use off brand ink? Yes Canon ink is expensive, but so is my time, paper and all the rest. With Canon ink I get the prints I expect. If it’s worth doing…

Let’s be honest – these are kinda pricey, but that’s because they are quality. I’ve tried the budget varieties of these cartridges, and have regretted it every time with clogged ink heads and ink leaking everywhere. Canon gets the job done, and the most cost-effective way to approach these cartridges is by picking them up in these multipacks. I have 2 Pro9000 printers, one in the office and one at home, and this is the only way to to maintain them. 🙂
