Don’t risk damaging your printer; always use OEM ink, whether your printer is an Epson, Canon, HP, etc.

I’ve been using Canon ink for many years. The quality is always great. The price seems high no matter where I buy it.

Canon CLI inks are still the best choice for positive results and longevity. That said, they are absurdly overpriced, and this leads to a negative perception of the company. I would welcome a comparable and reasonably priced alternative.

It is used for Canon Pro9000 Mk2 printer. It produces excellent pro quality photo prints on various types of pro photo papers.

Being used on a Canon Pixma Pro 9000 Mk II. I don’t know if my experience is typical or not. So far I have printed about 30+ 13X19 prints on glossy and photo rag paper, with varied color content,(no dominate color throughout prints made) and I have gone through 3 Photo Magenta cartridges, 2 Photo Cyan and 1 Yellow cartridge before any of the other cartridges even show any use. The only problem with this is for some reason locally the stores only carry 4 of the 8 inks used for this printer and they are the 4 colors that seem to be used the least. Even the local … store, only carries a packaged 4 pack with the least used colors. ie: red, green, black, Yellow???? and do not carry or plan on carrying anything more. So it looks like I am stuck having to mail order ALL of my ink unless there is an emergency and I need a color that is available locally. I am just not sure why I am going through this color at such an uneven rate although I am printing in a wide gamut ie: not just RGB. The ink itself is excellent, dries and cures fast on both glossy and photo rag paper. Not cheap though, but good ink and paper never have been.

I have used off brand ink on a smaller printer for DOCUMENTS, but I want the best quality for PHOTOGRAPHS I print on my Canon 9000 II printer. Canon inks give me beautiful color that matches what I see on my monitor.

These inks are required for the Canon Multifunction (MP)530 printer. It makes sense to get the 4 colors as a pack as B&H offers – you save dollars and it’s more practical than buying them individually. The color inks don’t go too fast and you end up going through all of them — more or less at the same time, so again why not shell out the money for all four. I’ve only had one cartridge give me problems; this product seems to be made well.
