If you want the best results from your Canon printer, you have to use the ink that was made by that company for the printers they make. I have never used any ink but Canon, and the results have always been flawless. When you spend the kind of money you do these days, to vist the locations you want to photograph, Why ruin your prints with inferior ink.

Even though there are cheaper options, canon oem ink tanks produce the most accurate colors as well as work flawlessly in the printers. I have tried going a cheaper route only to be disappointed in color reproductions. Just bite the bullet and enjoy hassle free printing.

I only use Canon inks on my PIXMA 9000. I provide the prints with CD’s of pictures for Junior Rodeo event photography. The inks are great and with the Chromalife standard, good for 100 years! Buying form B&H also saves money from the big box stores. I go through a lot of ink, and it does add up $$, but I stick with the quality product at the best price I can find. My customers appear to be really happy with the results. Greens and Reds are really good.
