I used this to print some photos that I wanted to frame. I am using a Canon Pro-100 printer to print the images from Photoshop using the printer settings to control colour. I found that the print output tends to have softer edges, even though the photo are well in focus. If that’s the look yo are going for then this is the paper for you.

The paper feels and looks nice, but on my Canon Pro-1000 it has terrible dMax. Black becomes a muddy dark grey. Also, note that this paper is no longer available on the Canon website, and you can’t get an ICC for the Pro-1000 (so I had to make one myself).

I’ve been using this paper for many years as my standard calendar paper, and am pleased with the print quality. However, it is the only paper that has a problem feeding through the cassette on my Canon ipf5000 printer. The printer does fine for about 10 sheets, then will begin to fail to pick up the paper. I have to remove the cassette, elevate the printer, remove the back, and then clean the rollers with a damp cloth, and then put everything back in place to continue printing. Very time consuming, and I have to constantly monitor printing. There is also some serious curl to the paper sometimes. That could be a storage issue, but still another flaw that I wish could be fixed.

I use this for greeting cards – 2 4.25 x 5.5 cards per sheet. It’s perfect for these. The surface is great and print quality is excellent.

Yeah great black and whites also neat for color landscapes

Can’t tell front and back, plus print quality isn’t good. It show thin horizontal lines which I haven’t seen using my printer for years.

This is priced at the lower end of the spectrum yet it is a really nice rag paper with a substantial feel. Now you can print premium at a budget price. Not sure about canon profiles though, they do not maximize this paper. I do not yet make my own profiles but of all things the Moab Entrada rag profiles and setting recommendations are really stunning and far better than the canon supplied profile.
