I owned another brand of printer and it would go through inks in a hurry. These carts are half the size and last twice as long as the old printer. I know some complain about the high cost of ink, but you get what you pay for. These also cost half the price of ink from my old computer.

I have used these ink cartridges with a Canon 9500 Pro printer for about two years and I remain very pleased with the photo quality. I have experimented with different papers but primarily use the semi-gloss Canon paper with excellent results. I have started selling my photos, which will help me recoup the price of the ink. The cartridges do not last as long as I would like but I can’t complain about the print quality.

All the PGI-9 inks for the Pixma Pro 9500 are to expensive for the amount of ink they give you. The ink last a long time on Pro Paper, great color and tones. Very easy to install. I would recommend this over generic ink.

It is a fine product. My thought however would be a package that would have the proper proportions of cartridges in keeping with your typical use. Some colors are used 4 to 5 times as much as some other colors. Others are at different proportions. However; some of my prints are not typical. I love the results I get from this printer.

I’ve used Canon brand products most of my adult life. I find Canon products to be superior to other brands because they simply do not cross the line. Canon specializes in photography and printing products. I’ve used Canon inks for my 9500 pro printer since the day I bought it. I’ve had nothing but great results from my print jobs. I print mostly using 13×19 paper, so you can imagine how easy it would be to spot discrepancies. I am not an avid photographer, nor do I print a lot, so as you may have figured out, I am very particular about what I print and how well the prints I produce.

The Canon printers produce wonderful quality, but use ink rapidly, mainly because the cartridges are small and the ink density high. So, one goes through cartridges often. Therefore, price and quality are vital. My order from B&H delivered high quality originals at a wonderful price. So, complete satisfaction.

to have full spectrum of pigments handy and 10-cartridges kit is an economical choice, but at the same time I bought separately grey and yellow and had replaced. Especially grey I suspect comes out quickly. It may depend of your favorite colors but would not hurt to have a less expensive option in 5-packs e.g. B&H as most often comes with the best prize and excellent service.
