   I am an amatuer photographer and print my own images on the Canon 9500 printer. I use the PGI-9 ink cartridge kit because they are archival inks and produce vivid colors.

   These inks make my photos comparable to the old-style photo paper, with no darkroom necessary. Although expensive, B&H has the best price I’ve found online. I live in a small community, and these inks are not carried in any store, so I must purchase online and pay shipping fees.

   This ink – the original Canon Lucia Pigment Ink, is for my Canon 9500 (works in Mk II, also). Fantastic product, expensive by comparison to dye inks, but well worth the price. One cannot come close to comparing the results (prints) with those that come off 4 to 8 color machines.

   The ink is excellent and I have only good issues with it. Color is sharp and clear, a little dull so you have to bring the colors up a little on the screen

   The gray seems to run out a lot faster than other colors so be sure to order extra. This is a new printer for me and I’m on my third gray without changing any other color.

    This not the first time using this product. I have owned only Canon Printers, to me they are the best printers on the market, because they are easy to use very user friendly. You can let them sit for months, and you need to print again there isn’t any issues with the jets clogging or any other problems. I love My Canon 9500 MARK11 Printer, It’s the very best there is.

    I print a lot of B&W with my 9500 Pro, thanks to this gray cartridge the results are simply stunning. I work with a calibrated monitor and the prints are exactly as what I see on the screen. No color casts, B&W as good as it gets. I’m only giving it 4 stars because the yield is quite low. At the most 15-20 letter size prints and you need to replace it.

    I use this product to print pictures on a canon 9500 pro. I print 13×19 pictures of wildlife. The prints are beautiful with true color being produced by the ink

    I use the ink with the Canon Pro 9500 Mark II printer and mostly Red River Arctic White Gloss, and while there is noticeable silvering visible when the prints are viewed from sharp off-angles, the overall effect is great. Had an HP 8850 printer previously, and these Canon inks and the 9500 Mk II are clearly superior in color saturation and range, with less silvering. Heartily recommend the printer and the inks, as long as you are prepared to stock up on lots of extra cartridges. Blacks and gray seem to go particularly fast…. Can’t complain too much about the size of the cartridges, as there have been plenty of previous reviews pointing out this problem.

    I have the Canon PRO9500 Mark II Photo Printer, and OEM ink makes a big difference in the quliaity of the photo. The colors are fantastic. I printed about 100 large photos in the last month, and I really went through some ink; especially the Gray.
