To print pro quality photos nothing like it, True color no more tri-color. What color is that anyway. Pigment ink is the truest form archival in nature back to the heart of photography. Photos are memories shouldn’t they be here to reflect that.

When I first bought my Canon Pro 9500 printer, I printed off a 4×6 of my granddaughter and placed it on the dash of my truck. It is still there two years later and I cannot see a color shift or fade. This lucia ink has impressed me.

This pigment ink tank is for my Canon Pixma Pro 9500 Mark II. Pigment ink is important for my photographs. Using the printer manufacturer’s Canon Lucia PGI in tanks is important to keep my printer running without problems. I would never use a generic ink tank in my printer or for my photos.

These Canon inks give consistantly great results. One negative is the short life of the cartridges. Canon should make a concerted effort to improve the longevity of the PGI-9 inks. Customers spend more on PGI-9 inks and Pro 9500 Mark II printers. Why shouldn’t we expect improvements.

After using the printer (Canon9500Pro) for a while I started waiting for the ink low warning light. It wasn’t til I had made a considerable number of large prints that I finally had to change out the gray cartridge. Then after many more prints, I finally had to change two of the color cartridges. The mileage I am getting from this printer and cartridge set is impressive. It is far better than I had expected. I placed a 4×6 on my car dash, and it has been there for two months and has no fade or color change. This was my test print.

The ink to be used in the Canon Pixma Pro9500 MKII is amazing. This set of 10 ink cartridges is cheaper than to buy all of them separately. I would definitly say that this a good buy despite the price.

I think all the Canon inks are great. But I needed this ASAP and it didn’t even leave the warehouse until the third day after it was ordered. Come on B&H simply drop this in a first-class envelope the day it is ordered and I’d get it in time.

What suprised me in using the Canon 9500 printer is how often one is running out of the Gray Ink! My prints are very good so that makes it worth the price.
