best ink for photos still to pricey

Purchasing 10 individual cartridges of each color is a tad cheaper than the 10 pack. As a bonus you only purchase the cartridges you need making it even cheaper. These cartridges are expensive so any savings is great. Print quality from these is great.

Great photo printer . Slow but great results. Keep extra Grey ink cartridge on hand because it empties first!!

I use the inks in my Canon Pro 9500 Mark II with Canon paper and get the best results. Because of my volume, the inks run out too fast. It would be nice to have bigger tanks and lower prices especially when printing 13×19 images. I have to keep extra tanks because I never know how many prints I can make until a color runs out.

The Canon PGI-9 inks for their Pro9500 printers are very good. I note that it is impossible to rate an ink without regards to the printer using it: I have owned both the original Pro9500 and the Mark II. Both seem to be virtually clog free and I find much less than 1% of prints thrown away because of ink problems. I have printed several thousands of 13 x 19 pictures with only 4 ink mishaps. The colors are great which means that the ink/printer combinations are properly profiled – I exclusively use Canon papers. I would guess that I replace an ink cartridge between once every 5 and once every dozen 13 x 19 print. (There are several smaller proofs printed in addition.) This means that the ink cost per print is some where between single cartridge price divided by 12 and divided by 5. I tend to print slightly unsaturated photos so that should be considered. As they say, your mileage may vary.

The right product, in stock and delivered on time. Not that common.

Canon has great ink and this is the cheapest reliable place ive found to buy it. made the mistake of trying third party brand ink to cut costs and will never make that mistake again, sent it right back and ordered more Canon ink.

B&H is honestly the first and only place I can bring myself to buy ink. I have 3 printers and run a small business. Though the printers are consumer level, it means I depend heavily on timely delivery and quality inks. I know the place to shop is B&H. Thanks, Carson M. Hype(rion) Impressions Ltd.

I like to buy replacement ink for my Pixma Pro9500 MarkII as a 10-ink kit. That way I have replacements ready as I need them. If I find I am going through one or more colors faster than the other, I will order them individually with the kit order…again, to insure I always have replacements on hand. Cons:

I am using these prints for my portfolio for my photography classes, and couldn’t be happier. The B&W photos are bueatiful.

This ink – the original Canon Lucia Pigment Ink, is for my Canon 9500 (works in Mk II, also). Fantastic product, expensive by comparison to dye inks, but well worth the price. One cannot come close to comparing the results (prints) with those that come off 4 to 8 color machines.

I bought this 10 pack at B&H for my Canon printer. I like the quality of the ink and the prints that it produces. Great price, great B&H service, fast delivery, what more could one want?

My (almost) brand new Canon Pixma Pro 9500 series II stopped printing. After running all the cleaning and diagnostics I called B&H for advice. The sales person listened and explained that my ink cartridges had run dry and needed to be replaced. I ordered them, installed them, ran the cleanings multiple times and finally got a test page to print. At that point the printer said two of the new cartridges were empty. I took the printer with the brand new cartridges to recycling rather than waste any more time or money on this failure.

I use this ink in my Canon Pixma 9500 Photo printer and the results that I get are great! I was pleased with how easy it was to replace the ink tanks: no different from the other Canon printer that I own for mostly documents. The ink dries faster than Canon recommends waiting after printing the picture. In the future I will always buy the multi-pack ink since I only bought what I needed only to find that the other tanks were also low but did not show up as such until after I had sent away …for 2 ink colors. The ink is great but it is costly to have to replace them all at once.

I will only use original Canon inks in my pro 9500 printer, and this 10-pack from B&H is by far the most economical way to purchase replacement cartridges.

I primarily print photos on my 9500 Pro Mark II. The Magenta use is slightly high, but quality is worth the cost.
