This pigment ink tank is for my Canon Pixma Pro 9500 Mark II. Pigment ink is important for my photographs. Using the printer manufacturer’s Canon Lucia PGI in tanks is important to keep my printer running without problems. I would never use a generic ink tank in my printer or for my photos.

My printer had dried out from not using it for a couple years, after a soak in Windex the print head was unclogged and with a new set of colors it is printing beautifully again. 🙂

I use this product to print pictures on a canon 9500 pro. I print 13×19 pictures of wildlife. The prints are beautiful with true color being produced by the ink

Lucia pigment base ink does not fade like dye based inks and looks decent on high gloss paper despite being pigment based. Colors look great on a variety of substrates, black & white photos look especially good thanks to the photo black, matte black and gray cartridges.

I use this product with Canon PIXMA Pro9500 Mark II. It works, of course, in conjunction with the other nine, which gives GREAT print results! Green is a color which is changed infrequently. I have no complaints. I would like to say, however, if you do not print regularly on your PIXMA Pro9500, the head will become clogged and can be sort of expensive to replace. Ask me how I know. :o) Overall, great product. I’m Canon all the way.

I tend to print many of the photos I’m pleased with, changing the theme of my man-cave/office to reflect current travel or macro. I also provide a few photos to friends we travel with. As the PGI-9 is the only Canon cartridge that fits my Pro9500 MII printer, I use Canon inks. I tried a different supplier for a while and although the price point was attractive, I went back to the Canon cartridges. Raising the price for the 10-pack from $114 to $145 cost them 1/2 star. The other half star is that the gray seems to run out sooner than anything else.

Although fairly expensive, these cartridges work well.

I have used Cannon products for years. I have always used Canon Printers and liked the individual inks concept developed by Canon, this is why I hesitated in purchasing Epson Printers. The Canon Pigment Inks are much brighter than the Epson Pigment Inks. I researched this for several months before buying the Canon Pro 9500. I have a Canon I9900 that use the dye ink and have never been disappointed. When I first used the Pro 9500 I was blown away by the color accuracy and with the 2 blacks and 1 grey inks gives such a tonal quality that black and white photographs deserves. I have never been disappointed with Canon, Pro 9500 is a big winner and more affordable than Epson.

if you are looking to get this ink for you pro9500 mark II, B&H sell them at the lowest price, i cross checked few site and b&h add up to be lowest. they do run out fast tho, i did 4 print with full black on the background, my pgi-9 gray went empty. so be sure to stock them or else you will have to wait couple days to get it, staples dont sell it in store, and they have a 100% markup from b&H. the print come out really nice with these ink, no complain, just wish the ink is a little bigger and cheaper.

Very high quality ink. However, it seems to deplete quickly and is quite expensive.
