I insist on Canon genuine ink cartridges, so the bottom line is that there are no choices, these are the cartridges for my machine. Therefore, the only difference between buying this set of ink cartridges from B&H or buying anywhere else then is the price. I checked high and low, looked into coupons, special offers, free shipping, etc and hands down the absolute lowest price was at B&H! …

The product performs just as I expected, was offered at a reasonable price and was shipped promptly. The only slight drawback I find with it is that the cartridge is smaller than I would like. Otherwise, everything was great.

I recently scanned B&W negatives from forty years ago. I decide to do bulk printing on Canon Matte paper instead of fine art paper. (Several hundred 13 x 19′ prints were made on my Pro9500.) I kept informal track of the number of prints between cartridge replacements: informal results are between 8 and 15 prints per cartridge. Do the math and note that A3+ B&W wasn’t very expensive. Besides this ink and other gray/blacks there were some replacements of color cartridges. I wonder what Canon’s ink map to gray scale looks like!

Cartridge kit allows me to keep printing and not have to run out the the local camerastore and purchase individual ink cartridges at twice the price

This ink – the original Canon Lucia Pigment Ink, is for my Canon 9500 (works in Mk II, also). Fantastic product, expensive by comparison to dye inks, but well worth the price. One cannot come close to comparing the results (prints) with those that come off 4 to 8 color machines.

The cartridges work flawlessly but are very small and run out of ink fairly quickly.

The ink is needed for my Canon Pro9500. I wish it didn’t run out so quickly though!

The Canon PGI-9 inks for their Pro9500 printers are very good. I note that it is impossible to rate an ink without regards to the printer using it: I have owned both the original Pro9500 and the Mark II. Both seem to be virtually clog free and I find much less than 1% of prints thrown away because of ink problems. I have printed several thousands of 13 x 19 pictures with only 4 ink mishaps. The colors are great which means that the ink/printer combinations are properly profiled – I exclusively use Canon papers. I would guess that I replace an ink cartridge between once every 5 and once every dozen 13 x 19 print. (There are several smaller proofs printed in addition.) This means that the ink cost per print is some where between single cartridge price divided by 12 and divided by 5. I tend to print slightly unsaturated photos so that should be considered. As they say, your mileage may vary.

This is my standard go-to when I purchase ink for my Canon Pro9500 Mark II printer. The package price is a good savings over the individual ink cartridges.

I love the natural colors that I get using Canon inks for my photos

I use this product for Cannon printer. Only complain I have that the price is gone up since last time (end of last year) I purchased the product.

Best pigment for printing

Great value for super photos.

We use the 9500 printer to produce high quality photos for our Clients. The color is great. Problem is, the ink supply is not sufficient. It seems that we’re always ordering another set of 10 ink cartridges at $… Really expensive.

Printing of flowers & grandkids. Makes beautiful 13×19 prints of the flowers. I wish they would make a larger cartridge to fit Pro9500.
