   Of all the cartridges I’ve ever purchased for any printer over many years, I’ve never had one that requires replacing so much. I’ve owned the printer for less than three weeks and have printed @300-400 4×6 COLOR PRINTS and have purchased so far 5 gray cartridges which is less of an issue on the budget as its been on time running back and forth to buy more inks; obviously this is a function of the printer, so on the side of what it produces, I will say that the few black and whites I’ve printed are stunning, so the addition of grays into the inkjet printing process does seem to make a great difference and I am overall happy with its performance in the PixmaPro5500MarkII, but wish that they would do some kind of a bundle price on the gray ink, maybe packs of a dozen for a slight discount or something.

   I use the Pro 9500 Mk II for black and white photo printing with LUCIA PGI-9 inks. Along with Canon paper, the quality with this combination is out of this world. I used the same set up to shoot my Son’s Engagement photos. 13×19 for the one large shot that is out of the ball park.

   I print photos and the Cannon Inks are great. The gray use is very high, but the Cyan is slightly high. The price and use is worth the quality, and B&H has great price for the inks.

   with the pixma pro 9500 mk ii printer the gray ink goes quickly but the prints are phenomenal and i couldnt be happier. buy this ink 2 at a time and you will be fine.

    What suprised me in using the Canon 9500 printer is how often one is running out of the Gray Ink! My prints are very good so that makes it worth the price.

    I’ve used Canon brand products most of my adult life. I find Canon products to be superior to other brands because they simply do not cross the line. Canon specializes in photography and printing products. I’ve used Canon inks for my 9500 pro printer since the day I bought it. I’ve had nothing but great results from my print jobs. I print mostly using 13×19 paper, so you can imagine how easy it would be to spot discrepancies. I am not an avid photographer, nor do I print a lot, so as you may have figured out, I am very particular about what I print and how well the prints I produce.

    I have to say B&H prices on this ink are the best.. If your using PGI-9 ink what can I say but it always looks good.

    Great kit!!! Not easy to find this kit on the internet. BH offers this product at a good price. BH comes through again!!!
