I like using printer-brand OEM papers because I know the printer profiles (sort of like printer drivers) work well. I have had trouble with the printer paper profiles for 2 different brands of 3rd party paper. So, using this avoids trouble. But — the paper is a lot less thick than the comparable paper from that other major brand. There is a Canon logo on the back of each sheet, so its easy to aviod loading the paper backwards.

This photo paper is incredible. I cannot say enough about it…it’s as if it came from a professional lab. I’ve printed out around 200 photos thus far and this photo paper is rock & roll. So glad I found it. No pigment swells nor ink blots. I’m using a ProGraf-300 by Canon and I’m really happy with the results.

This paper is inexpensive, and prints with great consistency from batch to batch. If you use the correct output profiles for your printer and ink then you will get great results. Because it has such a smooth, high-gloss surface and also no watermarks or branding printed on the reverse side, it makes outstanding paper negatives for contact printing.
