The texture of this paper is terrific – not quite matte, but still has more character than traditionally glossy photo paper. 8×10 is easier to frame than the more common letter sized photo paper which requires cutting down. Great cost per sheet and good weight. Overall, this is one of my favorite papers for use with a Canon PRO-100. Haven’t noticed an issue with fading though I don’t keep prints in direct sunlight for days.

I honestly can say that this paper is one of the best. I have used other brands but non compares to the Canon SG-201 Photo Paper Plus Semi-Gloss (8 x 10). It’s like driving a sport car, if you have ever driven one. It’s smooth and has a nice texture about it. I would recommend this for all photographer lovers who loves to print.

Sharp, good color, pleasing surface, lays perfectly flat. Works very well with Canon’s stock profiles for the Pixma Pro 100, though slightly better after profiling with a Colormunki Photo.

I’m a photo restoration pro and soon to go pro landscape photographer. The Plus Semi Gloss in letter size and A3 are my papers of choice for the majority of my prints and I use them with my Pixma Pro 9500 Mark II. The results, both BW and color,are simply stunning. The profile for the paper came with the driver. A calibrated Adobe RGB monitor, the 9500 and this paper create magic for me. Also,the price is down from last year.Highly recommended.

This paper was bundled with a Canon Pro-100 printer. The combination worked out great — 10 prints so far and no need for reprints! I would call the texture J in case you remember Kodak darkroom paper. It is gloss with a very fine embossed pebbled surface so it hides fingerprints well but shadows remain deep. Reflections are diffuse. It is like Ilford Classic Pearl Inkjet paper, but a little snappier.

For inexpensive paper this works quite nicely. It is hard to beat the value though it isn’t acid free. The prints come out quite lovely. (using a Canon PIXMA Pro-100) Lots of detail in the shadows and a good range all in between.

What can you say, it is just a box of well made photo paper. B&H did a great packing job so it arrived in perfect condition. The box was easy to open and it is easy to get individual sheets out. Would recommend this paper.
