I use this with my canon i9900. Great color reproduction, dark blacks.
Samanta Bechtelar (verified owner) –
Colors and details of photographs show up beautifully on this paper. This is the first time I have used semi-gloss paper. I like the way if displays a crisp image without the distracting reflections than can occur with a glossy surface.
Gia Price (verified owner) –
This paper does the job well, looks beautiful, no problems.
Adolph Johns (verified owner) –
Nicely packed, however, not as securely packed as the Luster.
Gudrun Ernser (verified owner) –

The Canon Semi-gloss Photo Paper is the best paper I’ve used for this price range. I’ve used it for an exhibition, sold prints printed on this paper, family photos, etc, when art papers weren’t practical. The Canon Pixma Pro printers can only make borderless prints with their own brand photo papers, using their Print Studio Pro plugin, which gives it an advantage over other papers. Colors print well on the paper, but not as vibrant as the fine art papers I’ve used. Compared with the glossy photo paper also sold by Canon, the SG paper has the right amount of gloss. The printed photo doesn’t come out as reflective as the glossy paper, which in my opinion, makes it better to put on display or in places with stronger lighting. The SG paper is very lightly textured, which makes it a good all-purpose paper. I’ve first used this paper a year ago, and it’s still my first option when it comes to prints! Below are some photos I’ve printed, angled on purpose to show how much reflection there is from the cheap fluorescent lighting in my…office. The light is more diffused on the SG paper but sharp on the glossy.

I’ve only used the gloss and matt versions, and this is more like an E surface photo paper, which is what I prefer. Great weight and color for everyday printing.

Product was included in PIXMA printer purchase.

Art prints come out just right! Holds ink nicely, not too glossy, love texture!

I compared a print on this paper with the same image on Hahnemuhle Baryta and they are virtually indistinguishable. This was an unexpected surprise. The only objection is that the paper is very lightweight, and is easily damaged without careful handling.

My Canon PRO 100 loves this paper semi gloss adds a great professional sheen to all my prints. This is a must have!
Dean Welch (verified owner) –
I have used this paper for maily portraits and for being a semi gloss is not as reflective as I thought this might be it has a very nice feel and the images printed on this paper are awesome once you have used the correct profile for it.
Floy Glover (verified owner) –
Nice paper, good quality, holds ink well and colors reproduce faithfully. I usually prefer high-gloss or mat, but this fill the between area. Used on a Canon Pro-1000, so it matches well.
Mara Murphy (verified owner) –
Used to use it, but now I prefer Lasal Exhibition luster
