I’ve only had the Canon TR7520 printer for about a month but so far it has performed well. It was easy to set up wirelessly, it has a good feature set, and the print quality is very good. It does not seem to have the quality that my Canon MX922 has but it does have a rear paper tray which makes it easier to handle greeting cards and envelopes. The TR7520 is not capable of printing a 3 1/2 X 5 inch print which is much less expensive than the 4X6 photos. Since I only bought the TR7520 as a backup to the MX922, I guess I can put up with a few shortcomings. The MX922 has served me well for many years and only time will tell if the TR7520 will fare as well. I doubt it.

I’m puzzled by the negative reviews some people have given this printer. I purchased this to replace an old Canon multi-function that finally broke. Installation was simple, printing has been flawless, and the scanning function works well. (I haven’t yet tried the fax function). Printing speed is fine. My only complaint is that I would have appreciated more detailed documentation. Concerning the complaints about speed: it would be helpful if people who have that complaint explained their connection method. I have mine installed with a USB connection. The reason is that I learned when using a different printer that wireless print connections are often slower and can be unreliable. My suggestion is that anyone experiencing slow printing with ANY printer connected wirelessly first reinstall with a USB connection to see whether that is the source of the problem. Bottom line: I would purchase this again.

What else is there to be said. I heard people had issues with installation. Seriously? Took me all of five minutes. Great colors, good scanning, Nice all around everything. Get you one!

When my printer died I started looking for replacement & found this little gem. Did a search of many sites and found the best price at B&H. Shipping was as great as the price. Printer prints pretty fast, turns on automatically when you hit print. Many options such as quiet print mode and the auto turn on. Haven’t used the fax or the top feed. Overall happy with it.

3 yrs ago with my old canon printer – had problems setting it up. kept getting disconned from the router, so I hooked it up with usb and never had a problem. now with new printer – my pc wouldn’t recognize my printer when connected to usb, (reverse of 3 yrs ago), I set it up wirelessly… which took 3 tries. I’ve done a bunch of auto-duplex and it works great. That bottom paper tray is annoying under the pull-out to where the printed paper comes out, but I’ll live through it.

This is my fourth or fifth printer, and I have to say, so far it’s the one I like best of all. It’s compact, easy to set up and install, and gets the print job done much more quickly than my previous printers. Now, I just hope it’s durable. My last Canon printer died one week after the original warranty expired. This time I purchased an extended warranty.

My old Epson was apparently a dinosaur. This one turns on when I’m ready to print. I don’t have to get up and turn it on. Also, the images are so good for photographs! I really love this one in comparison to the older version which is no longer available.
