The six-channel Canon PF-06 Print Head is engineered to work with the printer’s high-speed carriage and high-frequency ink ejection to help facilitate fast printing. The PF-06 is compatible with imagePROGRAF TM-200, TM-300, and TM-305 as well as the TX-3000 and TX-4000 printers.
The PF-06 utilizes a nozzle shape to help minimize mist spray, resulting in clean lines and text. The high-precision, high-density print head features a total of 15,360 nozzles and can lay down five picoliter-size ink droplets to produce sharp detail and image quality. With a max resolution of 2400 x 1200 dpi, the PF-06 produces fine lines that are accurate to ±0.10% and as thin as 0.02mm.

Received the print head in about a week. Hoping it lasts longer than the original one. They’re pricey little buggers but when you need it, you need it. Fairly easy to swap out once the printer cooperates (kept throwing a different error that wouldn’t let me select ‘replace print head’. Lots of wasted ink every time I shut down and powered up (not a fan of hard shut downs). But that’s all about the process. So far the new print head is working well *fingers crossed*

I have a Canon TX-3000 Wide format printer that started to throw out hardware errors which I could reset by re-booting. I asked my technician his thoughts and he said it probably was the print head starting to fail. This was the first replacement of the print head and had no idea that the cost was almost $500! B & H is my go-to for my printer stocks so i ordered the PF-06 print head from them. It arrived within a day or two and after installation I’m back to normal.

Our canon plotter had an error that could only be resolved with a new printhead. Replaced with this one and it’s back up and running. Much cheaper than official canon store as well. Hopefully will carry the expected lifespan of a printhead, but time will tell.

Received the printhead in a decent amount of time.
