   This pigment ink tank is for my Canon Pixma Pro 9500 Mark II. Pigment ink is important for my photographs. Using the printer manufacturer’s Canon Lucia PGI in tanks is important to keep my printer running without problems. I would never use a generic ink tank in my printer or for my photos.

   My printer had dried out from not using it for a couple years, after a soak in Windex the print head was unclogged and with a new set of colors it is printing beautifully again. 🙂

    I’ve tried non Canon inks and have had poor results. I just don’t think they’re worth the money for the results I got.

    The gray goes the quickest since it is critical to getting the range and accuracy of shading on the 9500 photo printer. Normally a double size tank in black is used on may printers, the only negative is that the gray should be double or triple in size Have gottent great results, but have had to replace the gray three times, still using the same tanks on the other colors. I did a lot with sunset and dusk, but when I went to brighter images seemed to consume at about the same rate. again solid images, but burn a lot of gray ink, should get several to keep on hand so you dont run out at the wrong time.

    I will only use original Canon inks in my pro 9500 printer, and this 10-pack from B&H is by far the most economical way to purchase replacement cartridges.
