Printed the exact same picture off my Canon Pro 10 printer on HP Advanced Photo Paper Glossy, and this paper. Had a pro photographer take a blind look at the 2 pictures; he pointed out very minor differences, both pro’s and con’s of each picture. The Canon was ever so slightly more brillant; which, is not always a good thing. No clear winner in this case. This was the 4×6 paper; I hope the larger paper I purchased will show a clear distinction over HP paper I’ve used in the past (which, truth be said, provided great prints). This paper gives a great print; but costly; I’m sticking with the less exspensive paper at the 4×6 size.

I use Canon Photo printer, so I found out that tha Canon Photo Paper Platinum is the best for me to print photos that last longer in Archival photo album as the Canon printer and Ink cartriges descibes. Photos are very sharp, good contrast and clear. But yes, I edit the picturs too.

This paper looks amazing when paired with my Canon Pro9000 mkII and the correct Canon ICC profile. It’s pricey, but worth the extra money to know that I will get consistent results with each print. Colors look rich and bright.An aside, B&H does an amazing job packaging and shipping this product. Some other online retailers put this large-size paper in a tight fitting box that has resulted in bent, damaged paper.

I print black and white photographs on a Canon MP990 and get professional results. I just bought another printer, a Pro 9500 Mark II. I haven’t set it up yet. I wonder what the difference will be. The prints I’m making on this paper, with this printer, astound people. I have a small gallery of my pictures in the room I read in. People love these pictures. I give each person a picture. I say, You can have any picture you want. Frame too. I used to use the labs. I don’t. I haven’t since last December.

We are using this product to print photos of patients a simulation of what their teeth would look like if the had veneers done. The semi-gloss photo paper really makes it look very natural. As of now no complaints here. Plan on using this product as long as we can.
