I had seen professional photographer’s prints done on this same paper but I doubted that I could achieve equal results. The only other Canon paper I had ever used was the Glossy II in 4×6 and 5×8 format. Having recently acquired the Canon ProGraf 300 printer, I put it, along with the 13×19 Pro Platinum, to the test. The images were beyond amazing! They actually looked better in print than they did on my high resolution 27 inch monitor that I used exclusively for photo editing. Digital screens, no matter the type or resolution capability, cannot compare to what this paper (and the printer, of course) can do! The images I printed were mostly wide open landscapes from the Black Mesa, Oklahoma area. I cannot say how well the paper might work for other applications nor can I attest as to whether it last 200 years as Canon claims? Who cares because I will not be around to know one way or the other. I do know that the last two prints I shared with my family brought tears to some of their eyes. What more could you ask from your photo paper?

Has a great thick feel. Super nice gloss. My photos look great!

I used this paper on my Canon Pixima ip4820 printer, and I was not very satisfied with the results I got. First of all I do not like glossy paper, but out of all of the glossy papers I have used this one is the best.

I use for rush print jobs at home when there is not enough time to order from print company. Does just what I need on record time. Paper is a bit pricey but comparable to most quality brands. All in all a good purchase.

I use Canon Glossy Plus II and the Platinum to print photos with my MP990 and the Platinum prints much brighter then the Glossy II and from what I hear is archival for 200 years.

After trying several other brands, I use Canon Pro Platinum Photo Paper exclusively with my Canon Pixma Pro-100 printer. The colors are vibrant and accurate when printing using the Print Studio Pro plugin from Lightroom. I also love the thickness of the paper. Best There Is

Perfect match for Canon Pixma printers

Had heard mixed reviews about this paper – think its terrific. Can’t yet get it in Australia (or haven’t been able to find it). Makes the photos look like a professional print. Haven’t had any problems at all.

The best inkjet photo paper I have ever used for my canon pro9000 II.

Although I do not sell my work, I donate framed photographs to several nonprofit fundraising auctions every year. All of my 8×10 photos are on Canon Pro Platinum, printed on a Canon Pro 9000 MkII printer. The colors and contrast are super.

But it sure is close. With a chroma optimized clear coat it’s kind of a miracle that a print that looks that good could come out of my printer. Canons best paper and one of fine arts best papers if you ask me ( optically )

I take pictures for our local arboterum and provide photos as needed for promoting it for public pesentations. It provides the sharp tones and colors of the scenery. The quality and durability of the end product are more than outstanding. It is instantly dry right out of the printer which makes it easy to work with. I use it in counjunction with my Canon MG6120 Inkjet printer. I also take many pictures for our church of the different activities and the life expectancy of this paper will be long remembered years later. I can’t find any faults with this product.

Have used this brand for a long time, it’s great.

After trying numerous ink jet photo papers, I find that this Pro Platinum glossy, from Canon, is the best by a considerable margin. I prefer glossy paper for photos, because of the added depth it gives. Besides the surface, which takes and hold ink well, the weight of this paper (80lbs – 11.8 mil – .3mm) feels sturdy for handling and ideal for mounting. I am an advanced amateur/ part-time professional. My printer is Canon Pixma Pro-100.

This paper with my Canon Pro 1000 are a great combination. Results are very consistent with the more expensive Hahnemule Photo Gloss paper. It is RC paper, and won’t have the same premium feel as fiber based paper, but no one will know or care once it is framed. The Canon ICC profile for this paper will brighten the midtones and increase the overall warmth, so be aware as you are prepping a file to be exported with this printer paper in mind.

I need archival paper, and this has lasted 15 years so far. The images are bright and clear, and so far have not faded. Note that I keep the paper away from light when not in use. R Schaefer

Great paper, it made all the difference in my prints, works great with my Pixma Pro 9000!

works great with my canon pixma pro printer!!

I have a pixma 9000 and with this paper my photos seems to have more vivid color and crisp sharpness. I sell photography on NYC streets and the thick 80lb paper last even in rougher conditions

I use the 4 X 6 Canon Pro Platinum Photo Paper and the quality of this photo paper really shows when I print using my Canon PIXMA PRO-100 Color Professional Inkjet Photo Printer. I’ve read that this paper and this machine can produce prints that last 200 Years. I once took a print I made with the 4 X 6 Canon Pro Platinum Photo Paper and submerged it in water for three days. When I dried the print off I couldn’t tell the part that was under water from the part that was not. OK so both of these examples are extreme but it does go to show what kind of prints this paper is capable of producing
