This is the paper I use with my Canon pro 10 printer for showing framed prints in a gallery. The color is accurate, vibrant and matches what I see on my computer screen. The platinum paper is my favorite among a lot of papers I have tried.

Always use canon photo paper. Better than the cheap stuff, you get what you pay for.

This paper makes great prints. Kodak has always been a great name in photo equipment, cameras, etc. But to me Canon has pulled far ahead in many areas, including, but not limited to photo paper.

I use Museo Silver Rag and decided to try the Pro Platinum paper. I run both through my Canon Pixma IP5200 which is not recommended, but it works. This Canon paper has more gloss and is whiter than the Museo. They are both 300 gsm (80 lb). I like heavy paper. I love this paper, but I do like the idea of the Museo’s 100% cotton, so I will use both.

Used for color printing in a iP100 printer with Canon Chromalife Inks only. I purchased a pack of Pro Platinum and Glossy II Canon paper to compare with Wholesale Pro Glossy paper which I usually use -with great results I might add. The test prints looked identical at first glance, but by marking the backs and shuffling, they appeared to be in this order: 1.Wholesale Pro Glossy, .55oz per sheet 2.Canon Glossy II, .60oz per sheet 3.Canon Pro Platinum (best).65 oz per sheet Because of the extremely small differences I’d suggest using 1. for most jobs and only using 3. for archival prints, or for situations where the prints are sold and packaged in plastic film. Platinum Pro paper is expensive and I think it’s main benefit is the archival benefits, best quality, and heavier weight which may make it more durable. I don’t see any need to use 2. Note:I used 2 test photos one a street scene with dog, bicycle, wood house, lot’s of small details, and the other a woman’s portrait with skin, hair, and gold dress.

I use this paper with a Canon Pixma Pro9000. Right after I bought my printer, I tried several different papers, included several cheaper alternatives. I wasn’t truly satisfied with my prints until I started using this paper. It’s worth the extra money.

works great with my canon pixma pro printer!!

I use this paper as my primary photo paper in my pro9500 printer. It is not so much on the glossy side to be able to reproduce excellent colors. For black & white images it yields very clear white backgrounds to contrast subtle gray to black tones.

Use professionally with Canon PIXMA Pro 100. Beautiful prints, the quality of very noticable when compared to other non-Canon products. Most importantly: My clients are blown away by the clarity. It gleems of high quality. Could not be happier! You truly get more than you pay for. Get this product.

I like the pro platinum paper. it gives me consistent and vivid color for my photos.

I print all my 13×19 prints on this paper. It is far superior to the other Canon papers I was using. It’s hard to believe paper can make such a significant difference. Don’t fall short of all the hard work and expense you put into your photography by shortchanging the last step in the process – use this paper and you’ll see what I mean.
