I use Platinum (8 1/2 x 11) mainly for black & white prints (printing on a Canon Pro 9500 Mark II, always supplied with Canon inks) – mostly of city-scapes. The paper is not cheap, but the prints are superb: deep blacks, fine shades of gray, to bright white. I wish the same printing precision were available in a matte finish – but is that technically possible? In any case, Pro Platinum is the best paper I’ve found for digital B & W!

I’ve tried a number of papers with my Canon Pro9000 MkII. For me, there is nothing better than this paper for high gloss. The colors jump off this heavy weight paper. If you are going to the time and trouble and expense of printing, go for the best. Pro Platinum will not disappoint.
