I was looking for a home office printer that would also let me crop before scanning. Duplex printing and document feeder also mattered. This one is great for all of that. Easy to set up. Great deal. Very pleased with my choice.

It took me longer to get the printer out of the box and remove the tape securing the parts than it did to have up and running. Internal firmware makes setup and Wireless network connection a breeze. My only dislike so far is the auto sleep power saving mode can’t be permanently disabled. Small footprint is great for saving surface space. Copies are crisp and clear. I would recommend this printer for home and small office use. B&H is a great source. I bought 2 printers from them. Great communication, highly responsive to orders really fast delivery time

Really angers me that this printer/scanner did not even last long enough to require a toner cartridge replacement! Where to begin. First, the Energy Saver feature often makes the printer undetectable on the network requiring a reboot of the printer before you can start a print job. I did not like that bug, but could live with it since we do not print that much. But this morning, the document feeder for the scanner died and no longer detects that documents are loaded into the scanner! Unacceptable. We bought this printer 11 months ago and have only printed 1076 copies. The toner cartridge included with the printer outlasted the printer! NOT happy. Will NOT buy another Canon.

sharpness of print quality is very good. printing multiple pages over wireless connection from my desktop is a bit slow. Scanning function excellent. have not yet used the fax app, who faxes anymore? David 4/24/21

I bought this multifunction printer for my wife’s real estate business to use at home. She has an older similar model at her office. Her number one priority was the ability to scan multi page documents with an auto feed for attachment to e-mails. This machine does that superbly. The second priority was printing B/W documents quickly which it also does well at a significantly reduced ink cost. The accompanying instruction booklet is adequate if you are setting up with a networked Windows machine. It’s not so good if you are setting up a Mac machine with an USB cable (not included with the printer). Fortunately, I was able to find a Canon users’ forum with suggestions on where to look on Canon’s website for detailed instructions. Cmon Canon; put the instructions (and USB cable) where they belong.

Over the years, I have used a variety of printers, so I figured to give this one a try, it is small, compact, has the features I need etc. Over the past year this scanner has not stopped jamming no matter the brand of copy paper I used. More recently, the LED screen goes into an hibernate mode and would not come out when we try to use the printer no matter what we do. Canon has lost my confidence and I am already looking for a different manufacturer whose products are functioning

Setup and software install went smooth. Only negative is LED touch panel is difficult to navigate. Download the user guide from Cannon website for more details: https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/details/printers/black-and-white-laser/canon-imageclass-mf269dw?tab=manuals

Print quality, speed, ease of use are all great. But occasionally the printer goes into some mode where you have to reboot it to access it. Which is annoying!
