The CLI-221 Magenta Ink Tank from Canon is part of the ChromaLife100+ system which combines FINE print head technology with Canon ink and photo paper to print borderless photos that have been tested to last up to 300 years when stored in an archival-quality photo album. Runs out fairly fast if i print high quality, but that’s too be expected. Be careful with oversaturation and you’ll do fine. I use the printer primarily to print proof my images before sending them to a printer for large sized prints.

These ink cartridges are the inkiest, most cartridgey ink cartridges I have ever bought. The printer that these cartridges go to has been amazing, and so far nothing has given me issues on this printer. As for the cartridges, they didn’t explode when i opened them, big points for that. They install very easily and are marked very well to indicate where they go.
