Canon has great US based support, but as a Canon user for over 20 years I am disappointed in Canon’s latest products. For 6 years I had a Canon Pixma 922, It was a great machine- a real work horse that was cost effective. When the 922 wore out, I bought a MB 2720, a huge mistake! The original 2720 machine and the replacement each broke down within 8 months. So I bought the TR 4520 thinking it would be more reliable. The 4520 is soooo sloooooow you can fix breakfast and 4 hours later have lunch and still not have a scan or print job finished. Be sure to compare ink prices for a 4520 Black & Color cartridge. The 922 ink was less than half that amount. Now you can’t buy a Canon printer that has any speed and that has reasonably priced ink. I suggest you do a thorough evaluation before buying.

Printer kept saying to load paper when it was clearly in there. Also “insert cartridge” kept popping up as error code… this meant that the tabs were supposed to align with the paper. Again, something they were already doing. One and Done for me with Canon.

It is incredible how short the ink in these printers lasts, it is much less than what the advertisements say, the ink refills are extremely small; and it becomes a problem it is disappointing, If you need to print regularly because you are passing a school or something like that, think of something more professional because this is honestly a toy. Even if you want to print using only the black toner CANON don allow that .WHY? You can do that with any Brother or other printers .Totally Disappointed.

Hard to install on corporate modem. Jams happen often

Problem setting up with package instructions. Maybe there’s no software for macOS Big Sur version 11.1?

This little old lady had the printer out of the box and running in about a half hour (included time to download correct software driver). Works perfectly. The Normal printing is similar to the old Epson’s Draft mode that saves ink, but if you need darker saturated printing, you can also choose the Best setting. Very good Canon quality in a small footprint.

This TR4520 has been a disappointment since day one. I had HPs before and will go back to them — tomorrow — as I cannot even get this printer to perform a simple function that I need for a work project tomorrow. I do not even feel good about giving this away, as the frustration level in trying to deal with it is enough to harm someone’s health and well being.

This is the second Pixma TR4520 printer I have had in my home office. The first one went down due to operator error! This printer does it all: copies , front & back, color, black and white, photos, prints right off my computer no problem! I would highly recommend this fine printer. Excellent pricing also from B&H with quick and safe shipping to my rural location!

Very printer, I think it’s quite but it’s in the next room. I plugged it and found the WIFI and printed some pages from my computer.

I must say that I have to agree with all of the reviews given on this Cannon Pixma TR450 Series Printer. I too from day one have been having issues with an error regarding paper, yet the tray is full. Also, connection issues. The printer works better if I print from my phone. I really wanted to like this printer. I bought it less than a year ago, and I too wish I could return it for a refund or another printer. Shame on you Cannon!

Easy setup – I didn’t even need to ask my techie son for help! Not fancy, but does everything I need for a really reasonable price. My favorite feature is the duplex printing without having to go and turn the paper over. Do yourself a favor and order extra ink when you purchase this printer, as the ink cartridges that came with it ran out fairly quickly.

This is the worst and slowest printer of all time. A dot matrix printer could crush this thing in a sprint. I miss our HP! We bought it to replace our HP that finally gave out after years of good service and boy was it a mistake. You have to wait like 5-10 minutes to get something printed, often get error messages and the user interface (menu) is TERRIBLE! I can’t believe that Canon could stand by this product. reach out to me, make this better and I’ll gladly update my review but OMG guys!

I was first amazed with my service how fast I rec’d an email saying my purchase was being shipped. As for the Printer – Wow, I like the dial pad the top left side for fax and the read out screen, easy to set up on computer, lid lifts to make copies or to scan and adding paper or changing ink is easy to access. Great price as well!

Bought as a replacement for an older Canon MP160 inkjet. I have only very minor issues – the printer’s scanning and printing functions all work well for a budget-priced printer. I do not like how the paper-holding cassette must be partially removed to load paper and envelopes nor do I want to have to hold the print output tray while loading paper in the cassette. I do not use the wireless function on this printer.

Seems like a good printer so far, except that when each printing job begins it makes a really loud terrible screeching sound for several seconds.

Excellent choice for regular and photos.

Fantastic printer. Great for a small home application B&H was a delight to work with and shipped this printer quickly. We had it just a couple of days.

Once I found the right place on the Canon website to get the most recent drivers, the setup was easy. I had to find the printer page directly and not the automatic search feature. I was pleasantly surprised to see this printer had 4 cartridge choices for ink. Working great as a network accessible printer.

This is possibly the most worthless printer I have ever had ! The chance your printer will show when you want to air print is maybe 1%. I will never buy another Canon product again!

DO NOT BUY, THE INK is expensive and the ink is ALWAYS LOW even though I only printed one item 2 pages. It’s still says LOW INK
