It’s an easy printer to install, with great fixtures, great for an office setting and also for home except the part no need is faxing if you don’t have a phone line in the house. Perhaps it’s too early to accurately evaluate this printer, but right off the bat there are some disturbing issues with this device. First, the wireless setup is a pain. I opted for the USB setup and was lucky enough to have had the USB cable from a malfunctioning Pixma iP4200 that worked. No USB cable was included with the 4520! Additionally, the three color inks are all in one cartridge!!! So, when one color’s out, the cartridge is shot and whatever ink remains will be wasted – really stupid design. Had I known this before purchase, I never would have gone with this printer.

some reviews say its slow. It’s faster then my Lexmark. We use this as a copier only. Eventually I will try the app and print from my phone. Setup was easy just follow instructions. For home or small business (I’m a resident manager) this is fine. This does everything I needed it to do and won’t cost big buying toner. And for all the people who says it does not enlarge yes it does can even go from letter to legal I needed that for agreement. Solid machine have had no problems so far.

This machine is a replacement for two 2720s that broke down within 6 months. The ink is very expensive, but what is worse is you can’t print even a 500 sheet ream of paper in black normal written type without running out of ink. Now to camouflage this dog Canon renamed and renumber it to slide it by unsuspecting buyers. I am so disappointed in Canon, I relied on them for the last 20 years. Now their products are junk.

I was very disappointed in the TR4520. It would not print on smaller paper as described online. If I used a different paper size, then I had to change the paper size each time I printed. It was also very noisy.

The top lid of the scanner is so loose that it could break off. I don’t know if it happened when shipped, but I would like to return it and get a new one. I didn’t even use it.

I really wanted an easy to install printer with the wireless and wired connection option. I tried the usb hookup directly to my computer and it would do everything except print. After reading lots of complaints about set up difficulties, I decided to install it wirelessly and it worked. Not sure why a wired connection is so challenging but I’m definitely not the only one with that problem. After wasting a couple hours, I gave up and just went wireless and it’s working fine. The starter ink doesn’t last long so don’t count on more than 20 pages to be printed.

Just bought today from Walmart in Canada, It worked out of the box using the cables, clicked Print, then “add printer”. It could already see it, took 30 seconds, printed fine. Close image of a flower printed very acceptably! Scan is cutting off the corners, I had to center a smaller paper in the middle of the tray to get it on. May prove problematic in the future. I just wanted to put it out here that a 2008 OSX 10.11.6 El Capitan worked easily out of the box in 5 minutes!

I’ve purchased two of these in the past year and all I can say is terrible. This is the worst printer I have ever purchased. Parts break on it within months and there’s no way to fix them then to just buy a new printer. Do not recommend this item.

Ordered the Canon TR4520 all-in-one printer from B&H Photo Dec. 1st. and received it by Dec. 4th. Much quicker than expected! Easy set up using the instructions provided. The printer does everything it says. This replaced my old Canon MX410 which stopped working unexpectedly. I called B&H to ask for help in finding the closest replacement and the rep at B&H was very helpful. An added bonus is that this printer is capable of printing on both sides which my old one did not do. The first time I used the scanner, it scanned my documents separately, but after watching a youtube video, I found out that If set it to TIF instead of jpeg, it will scan all the pages together. Very pleased with the printer and the helpful service from B&H Photo. Great buy for the money!

My old MX860 was well built, easy to use and reliable. My new TR4520 is cheaply built, the cover over the platen is loose and flimsy, It is hard to read the screen. I only purchased a new one because you no longer supported my old one!!

I got this to replace another Canon printer. I’ve had better experiences with Canon than I’ve had with Epson. The setup took a little while and I did encounter some error messages but eventually got through the process. Printing is good, clean, pretty fast. Hopefully, the ink supply will last, always a big question with printers since that’s pretty much how these companies really make their money. I usually find the prices at BH Photo competitive so I was annoyed that hours after I made my purchase at BH the price dropped elsewhere. BH does not do price matching.
